when you order a slice and they use a microwave to heat it up, ruins taste and makes it sloppy

We were looking for good Lasagna and Google suggested here - Napolis Grapevine. We were excited that it was close. We arrived before the Sunday rush and found upfront parking and were seated quickly in a nice window table for two. Only if it would have continued that well going forward. We knew exactly what we wanted and ordered the Lasagna and some Cheese stick appetizers along with ice water for our drinks. The water arrived as expected but was from the tap and smelled and tasted of chlorine. Luckily, we has some good bottled water in the car and I retrieved that. By the time I arrived back at the table the Lasagna was being served. It looked similar to the photos on line and we began to dig in. First of all it was not hot throughout, cold in the center and the beef tasted old. We tried to make the most of it but decided not to waste the calories. The cheese appetizers arrive late and about the same time we were pushing away the disappointing main dish. Like the lasagna the cheese squares looked appetizing but the taste was well ³below par and left both of us with sort of a grease induced stomach ache. I normally do not like writing poor reviews but this experience combined with the cost per serving -$20.00 Lasagna and to my surprise $15.00 bucks for cheese squares plus tax and tip. I felt like I should share my experience. We live nearby and Love Grapevine TX so we were disappointed that it was not great or even good & that this was what you ended up with for nearly $50.00 with tip.
Our Tip for the Hungry is try Mr. 01 pizza just down the street for great big salads and interesting twist on Pizza.

We love trying local small businesses and this sweet spot had so much character. They have a gelato shop on one side and dining on the other. The staff was amazing, very sweet and the service was stand out! The chef personally asked us about our experience and he was also out helping bus tables! I love seeing this teamwork! The food was amazing but slightly under seasoned for MY preference but I would definitely visit again if in the area!

Wonderful food! Excellent location . Reasonable prices. Great service. Couldn’t ask for more of a restaurant! Their mac&cheese, soup, lasagna, and cappuccino was over the top. Great desserts also.
