Flew in for lunch with cuzn. Quick drive from the airport. Couldn’t do the 1 in the airport because they wouldn’t let an active military member be a guest. So we drove to the nearby location. Cocktails & convo! Food of course was amazingly delicious especially that special dish of SeaBass. Pricing the same in every state. Service was phenomenal (Destiny I believe was her name). Definitely will return.

One of the better restaurants I've ever been to. Over a period of about 10 years I've been to this particular restaurant three times and two other Pappadeaux's three times before. They have a standard that is way up there and impressive. I understand they won't even hire servers with tattoos showing. Our server on Saturday, Amaan, was fabulous. As sharp as his dress and hair was It didn't even scratch the surface on how good His service was. The food is impeccably done, well seasoned and very tasty!! If you have a salt issue you may want to be careful! The floor manager was a hoot and showed us his Texas Tech shirt under his formal outfit. Of course we were there for the championship game which Texas Tech won! So it was a very special event anyway, made even better by our experience at Pappadeaux. Thank you for what your organization does to go over the top in quality and service! Second to none!! I spoke to someone at the Gaylord Texan in food and beverage and she was telling me how even among folks in food and beverage Pappadeaux set a high bar!! She was one of the best servers I have ever had also So her second on what I had experienced at Pappadeaux was meaningful!!

I have to say, it has been years since I've been in a Pappadeaux's. Mainly, because there are far few in between. Please open up more locations! Preferably in Rockwall. We were greeted with smiles and the hostess promptly sat us. The atmosphere was very elegant and clean. Destiny is by far the best server in house. She deserves a promotion! Extremely professional, courteous and attentative. The food came out in a timely manner in which the presentation and quality was barnone. We truly didn't want to be rushed and make it a memorable experience for my birthday and first timers for my wife and 13 year old daughter. I can't thank you enough for today. Only issue, BRING BACK ZYDECO BAND AND ADD MORE LOCATIONS.

Zero stars. This location has absolutely the most ridiculous, unfriendly, humiliating, and mind-numbingly stupid happy hour policy that I’ve ever seen at a restaurant. Bar none.
I came to the Grapevine location tonight with my daughter to enjoy some of their happy hour bites (their roaster oysters in particular are phenomenal!). Instead, I witnessed a Masterclass on how NOT to run a restaurant. Corporate should be ashamed of this display, and I will be reaching out to them to share my experience. I’m also leaving a review so that other customers can be warned.
The restaurant has a bar area, and their happy hour specials are only offered in the bar. Ok, fine. But they have several 3-top tables, so I asked if we could sit there. The front staff advised that we could not; those were only “waiting tables” for people to wait before sitting at the actual bar. What? Have you ever heard of that? And regardless, it wasn’t my desire to sit at the bar with my teen daughter. But guess what, they also have these really cute 2-top tables, which would be perfect for my daughter and I! So I asked if we could sit there, and got the same response: those tables are not usable; they are only waiting tables for people sitting at the bar. Never mind the fact that I’ve previously sat at those tables and ordered. The staff didn’t care. Even after I voiced my disapproval. That was the policy, and all three of the people I talked to were unhelpful, unsympathetic, and absolutely unwilling to create a better experience.
Eventually, after I joked at how ridiculous their policy was, the staff said that we could sit in the dining area, and they would let us order from the happy hour menu. That seemed like a good compromise. But guess what: after we were seated, the server knew nothing about this, and when he inquired, he got a completely different story from the front staff. I would have to literally get up from my table, leave my daughter sitting there by herself, and then walk over to the bar myself to order.
Really? Do you have any idea how ridiculous and un-family-friendly that is? That’s really the experience that you want your customers to have?
I’ve eaten at Pappas restaurants literally countless times over the past 30 years (including Pappadeaux, Pappasitos, Pappas BBQ, Pappas Burger, and Pappas Steakhouse), and have always had stellar experiences. Not tonight.
In fairness, the food and our server were both otherwise great. But that is not how you run a restaurant. And more importantly, it’s not how you treat your customers. I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that corporate would strongly disapprove of how this was handled. For the sake of this location, I hope I’m right.
Best Seafood Spot and a must stop everytime one is near when out of town. 10 outa 10!!!!!!!!!

I used to be obsessed with this place. I’ve eaten here since I was a little kid. then I realized that they serve their crawfish and their shrimp with the leg still on them… like deep fried with the legs in the batter…….. we pay a crazy amount of money for this food and yall are doing short cuts????????

Tonight we decided to stop in and celebrate my new position with our beloved company as we have both worked there for decades! We elected to sit at a booth and I was very happy they sat us at a half moon booth with tons of room. Our food server, Sarah, was amazing from the start. Filled with enthusiasm and knowledge. She didn’t miss a beat and quickly picked up on what we liked. The perfect amount of attention and care. The manager was pretty entertaining himself. I’m not a big seafood diner so I had the awesome filet!! She was right! Fabulous it was! We will be returning soon! Thanks for a memorable dinner!!
We came to celebrate my birthday with a large, complicated table and lots of last-minute changes. The staff went above and beyond, always keeping a great attitude. Special thanks to Manager Eric for making everything smooth and memorable! Will be back soon!
