My husband and I gave this place one last try last night (we have had either bad/slow service or not-so-great food the last several times we came) but we love the variety of the menu and had our first date here, so like I said, we agreed one last chance before we pick a new date night spot. Thankfully, we had the absolute best service and food ever! I feel bad bc I forgot the girl's name, but I think it was Clarissa. Anyways, she was delightfully present and had such a warm personality, without being annoying or overly present. Like, she brought my extra thirsty husband refills without interupting our conversation, but since she got our order right the first time and didn't forget any of our condiment requests as I'm used to, we didn't have to run her as much as servers in the past and it was quite nice. Oh and we had never tried yalls deserts, as we usually go for ice cream afterwards, but when we mentioned that, she suggested we save a trip and try the "best ever vanilla cheesecake." We did and she wasn't lying! So good! We will definitely be coming back and hopefully will be able to request her!

The food was good, but not amazing. Was very impressed with the great service though, and the place is huge so the atmosphere is decent. Old nostalgic decor. For the price (~$35/person), there are better options, to be honest.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu has options, including ice cream.

Birthday party for our son at a table for 7 at 4 pm on a Saturday. The wait staff handled us easily and served us well. All our dishes were great, as usual, and we had a great time!

We had an absolutely delicious post-flight lunch here. The salmon was tasty, and the creme brulee was perfection. I look forward to visiting again someday!

What can I say? The obvious is that this IS a chain. With that said, it consistently has excellent service and serves great seafood. Not a great draft beer selection, if that’s your thing. But other than that I can’t find anything bad to say. Maybe it’s a little loud? But that’s because it always has great energy, with lively, happy customers. The Pappas family knows how to operate great restaurants. Try the Reffish Pontchartrain, it’s my favorite.

Nice evening out for dinner at Pappadeaux in Grapevine. We started by splitting a Greek salad and the crab cake. The crab cake was light and flaky and served hot; the Greek salad had a zesty and lemony dressing with some large shrimp tails and feta cheese. For the entree, we ordered the wild caught mahi tchoupitoulas, Texas redfish Ponchartrain and the shrimp, scallop and jumbo lump crab pappardelle pasta. All were well prepared and served hot with fresh-baked French bread. Our server Kimberly was courteous and professional, and took great care of us all evening...Thanks Kimberly!A nice night out with the family with great food and service...We will be there again soon.Update: 03/31/24: went to have evening cocktails and dinner, and opted to dine at the bar.Kimberly, Jenny and Randy all took great care of us, and we enjoyed the new shrimp and crab Rangoon egg roll appetizer and the spinach crab dip.Great evening out for Easter.
