Rainforest Cafe

This place needs a makeover. At the very least a good cleaning. The jungle is filthy, dusty and old. The lion above us needs to be replaced, looks like he has mange. I e been to the one in Galveston and it's super nice. The food was like frozen cafeteria crap. Way over priced.

Female bathrooms were very gross, service was pretty good. Ribs and shrimp were good, steak was lacking but not bad. Kids fish was very bland

It had been over 20 years since my last visit to Rainforest Cafe as a kid, so I was really excited to go back—this time with my own little one. My 2-year-old was a bit scared of the thunderstorm sounds and animatronics at first, but she quickly warmed up and ended up loving it. The experience was such a fun sensory adventure for her! The food is a bit pricey for what you get, but it was decent overall. We did end up buying the photos the staff took of us—definitely a splurge, but a cute souvenir. We'll definitely be back. Seeing my toddler enjoy it so much made it worth every penny.

We visited the Grapevine Mills location on 7/13/2025 for my daughters 8th birthday. We notified the waiter at the beginning it was her birthday the following day and he acknowledged. The table next to us had a birthday celebration as well and they came out and sang happy birthday so we were expecting a similar experience. After he got our initial drink and appetizer order he was not around for atleast another 30 minutes. He stopped by and finally asked if we would like refills on our chips and drinks and said the kitchen was behind but our food should be out shortly. Another 20 minutes later and our food arrived which entrees were not great for the price. We never saw our waiter again after he came by to let us know the kitchen was running behind. No offers for drink refills no checking on if we were happy with our meal. Another server came over about 20 minutes after we had finished eating and we requested the check. I have worked in the food service industry and I know people get busy but you should always be checking in on your tables and you should working in a place like this be sure to make the birthday kid feel special when notified that is what you are there celebrating. Very disappointed in the experience.

The food took 50 minutes from ordering to arrival. Not a good idea when you are a restaurant that caters to families with small children. However, our waitress - Lindsay- was fantastic. She even tracked us down after we left behind the all important “blankie” before my granddaughter even realized it was missing.

Overall good experience. The kids - 10 and 15 years old - enjoyed it, specially the younger one. Food was good (not great), the service was good as well, and the ambiance was - well you are in the rainforest! Expect 2-3 upsells during the visit (a family picture, a rewards program and someone making animal balloons). Would we do it again? Meh, maybe! It was a great as a one time experience.

You're really only going for the ambience which is cool. Service was incredibly slow and food was so expensive

Save yourself and the money. It has to be the worst Rainforest Cafe in the US.

The chicken tenders were dry, unlike last time. My drink was too acidic, bitter and unflavored for $15!!!

My kids enjoyed the food but the service was poor we had asked our server Allison plus other servers for utensils and none of them cared to get it for us, Which was upsetting. Poor service makes customers not come back again.

Jessi was great

Jessi was a phenomenal server and made sure everything was taken care of. My drink was never empty. She also offered to take a picture of us. She truly was a blessing. Was a great experience!

Jessi was so sweet and intentional! Would absolutely come back to this location!
