I was really disappointed with the fajitas here. For a restaurant inside the Gaylord Texan, I expected much better. They were mot served on a sizzling skillet instead came out lukewarm and completely lacking flavor. The meat was tough and chewy, making it hard to enjoy. Honestly, I’ve had better fajitas at an airport. The atmosphere and location set high expectations, but the food just didn’t deliver.
If you want it a little sharper or more blunt, I can tweak the tone.
This place is awesome. Good was amazing, atmosphere was on point and Alex our waiter was the best. The chef personally visited our table and was absolutely great!! Definitely recommend
I went with 3 of my teenagers for dinner which was the buffet . It was 44 dollars per person which was kinda expected considering it’s in the Gaylord . However the food was pretty bland , a small selection and just kinda ok . But what upset me was not being informed about the service charge at 18 percent added to the bill before we got our bill . I know 18 percent isn’t much but when u also add 20 percent for the waitress . which also wasn’t the best . It’s becomes a little pricey. At $248.19 for me and 3 teenagers . Not worth it in the slightest.

The Christmas buffet was smaller than the previous year. The restaurant didn't validate the valet parking this year. The food selection was plentiful, but most of the food was out most of the day and not as warm or fresh as it should have been. We had a seating at 2pm reserved but didn't get seated until almost 2:30pm. Plenty of tables available, but apparently not enough servers or staff. Definitely not a good value for what we paid.
Everything was great! Was VERY disappointed that nothing was labeled as vegetarian while gluten free and dairy free were labeled. I do appreciate the labels for the dietary needs but vegetarian should also be. I had called prior to booking and has been told there were numerous options but without labels, makes it difficult what actually is. So that was disappointing!
We were expecting more Mexican dishes. Especially chips & tortillas. That would have been nice to have had that. We also were told we could validate our parking but because we valet we could not. Parking was $30 and we paid 31.39. Not including the tip. We were not expecting to not be able to get the parking comped.
It's an amazing place to walk in

Had the lunch buffet. Queso was basic and chips were cheap. Enchiladas tasted cheap quality as well. Ranch didn’t taste like ranch so the salad was ruined. Dessert was basic cupcakes and dry pastries. Come to find out it costs $46 for the buffet, total rip off. On top of $46 parking. We will not be returning.

Super server Wendy made sure our lunch experience was wonderful! She suggested The Street corn 🌽. This was so yummy. I could make a meal out of it alone! We ordered the Pastor plate. It was good, but the Elotes......were the real star of the lunch.

Food was amazing! However, the service was even better. Sandy was our server and was kind, attentive, caring, provided excellent food and drink recommendations, and even helped with our 5 children! She made them feel so cared for and addressed all of our needs for the evening. 10/10 and we will definitely be back!!

I had dinner at the Riverwalk Cantina located inside the hotel. I was celebrating my birthday with 10 other guest after consuming their food I became sick with food poisoning as well as my husband, son and nephew. I called the hotel the next morning to report the issue and was told by the director of operations that someone would call me back, I have reached out to the hotel several Times, but no one seems to care they transfer me from department to department. I finally was able to get a hold of the restaurant manager that explained to me that he was never informed of my phone calls and never once received a message from the front desk or Other staff members, he apologized and said I would receive a refund. I have yet not received a refund and my calls have been I did receive a call from their corporate office. The lady wanted to know if I was going to press charges or move forward. I told her no. I’ve never heard nothing from them. Please avoid this hotel at all cost. They don’t care about their guest and they have food that will Make you extremely ill very poor Customer Service and the food was awful. This place needs to be looked into and the food needs to be investigated. The health department will be contacted on my behalf.
We were not aware this was a buffet until we were seated. $39 is insane for a buffet - especially when there wasn’t a lot offered. Will not be back.
