Well, looking forward to a decent Tex-mex meal only to look down and discover labels on my cooked food. So naturally concerned. Food was decent until I discovered the labels. For the price, I recommend going elsewhere if this is the experience. But with that said, they apologized and apologized and did not charge me for the meal which I appreciate even though I did eat most of it. I ended up feeling bad cause the service was good.

Excellent food choices. Both breakfast and lunch/dinner menus are great. You feel like you're eating in the nicest outdoor setting. Service was excellent (Benjamine, Wendy, etc.).

The food and atmosphere were amazing for our colleagues to relax and enjoy authentic Mexican food. The service excellence provided by Clara was world class and highly remarkable. Our original party of five grew to ten over a thirty minute period. She was very flexible accommodating everyone’s needs, attentive, and made a very positive impression on our group!

The atmosphere of this resort was beautiful. It makes you feel like you are in a different country. Everyone who works here provides amazing customer service. Lamar was our waiter. He was amazing. He catered to our needs. My food that I originally ordered wasn’t what I expected. He made the proper accommodations for me. The river walk was sooo beautiful and a sight to look at while we ate. Definitely will be back soon.Parking: The self parking was $25. The valet ranged up to $45. If you eat at the restaurant, tell the hostess and you’ll get your parking ticket validated. It’ll be free.

We ate here three times during our stay at the Gaylord Texan, dinner, lunch, and breakfast. The latter two times were at the bar. While the wait staff at the main restaurant was mediocre, the bar staff was wonderful. The food was variable. Huevos rancheros were excellent despite being on a fried rather than soft corn tortilla. The tacos al pastor were less pleasant as the meat appeared cooked/boiled/stewed rather than pan fried. The fajitas were good but overprices. Atmosphere is lovely and it is a great place for all meals while at the resort.

First off we had Excellent service! Sandy was welcoming, super friendly and extra accommodating! Sitting by the water was pretty and relaxing! Husband wanted a mojito and they went to another bar to get some mint. Both of our drinks were really good. We had two of the seasonal appetizers that were excellent and the fresh chips and salsa addicting! We also shared a trio of tacos. Two barbacoa and one steak. They were Filled with delicious tender meats I don't understand the 1 stars. We had the best service and food for a good price at a nice resort! Will come back for dessert!!

I was surprised with how low this place of rated on here. I had a lovely experience. This is located within the Texan Gaylord hotel and is one of the only options for food before five p.m. The restaurant is beautiful and I liked the open feel. Service was fast and friendly! When my drink is always full it's a good sign for me. Now the food here is good. Not great or amazing but a solid option for a meal! Appetizers: queso dip, chips and salsa, and Mexican corn. After being seated, I was brought a basket of chips and a side of salsa, which was delicious! The chips recouped very well, and the salsa had the right balance of heat and flavor. To go along with the chips I ordered their queso. It was a very average side. I probably would not order it again. I like real cheese in my queso dip, and this tasted heavily of Velveeta cheese. The street corn, however, was fantastic and I highly recommend. The flavor balance was perfect. The only thing I wish I had more of was limes to add more lime juice but I like a lot of lime flavoring and I understand that not everyone does. I ordered tacos for lunch what I like about this place as you can mix and match the meats, so I have steak and Barbacoa. Out of the two I think the Barbacoa was my preference. The steak was good, but the Barbacoa had really really good flavor. Honestly, a really great stop for lunch. I would happily go there again, but it did not blow me away outside of the street corn. The service really made up for a lot of the food in my rating, great people are working at this location.

Good chips. Good salsa. Good queso. Poor service at the bar. I sat down and asked for a margarita menu and the bartender told me they didn't have one. He made it clear the only choices were blended or on the rocks and then went in about different tequilas acting like I was an idiot who was having tequila for the first time. As we sat there we watched a couple of varieties of margaritas with garnishes pass by to other customers. I then asked for their drink menu which listed " Drinks and Margaritas ". 5 or 6 different margaritas. It was a menu that could pass for a margarita menu . Fast forward to the bill which had two different charges for the same drink. $17 and $14. Same drink. When asking this bartender he said he gave us a deal and only charged one of us for the top shelf tequila he went on about in the initial introduction. We had ordered skinny Margs. Never top shelf. He took off $3 and I left there so annoyed, upset and I won't be returning again.

My wife and I had breakfast there; Enrique took great care of us and chef Jay came out to check on us. We had a great food and service experience and look forward to the next visit.

Our hostess Maya, and our server Jennifer, were awesome. Jennifer remembered what we had to drink on Saturday. I would definitely come eat at the Riverwalk again.

Everything about Riverwalk Cantina was great. From the food (French toast, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, & churro waffle) the service (Mina our waiter was very attentive & courtesy), and the atmosphere (really resembles the Riverwalk in San Antonio). If you’re ever in the Grapevine/Dallas area do yourself a favor and feel free to partake in a delicious breakfast here.

My husband and I came to celebrate my birthday on a Tuesday. It was our first time coming to The Gaylord and Riverwalk Cantina. It's beautiful inside! We walked around and made our way to Riverwalk Cantina. It was lunch hour so they were a little busy, wait time was about 10 mins but we didn't mind. We walked around and took pictures. Our server was very nice and attentive. We ordered the Parillada Ranchera, it was more than enough for my husband and I. We ended up taking leftovers home. Overall, I loved it. I love the atmosphere, friendly and fast service! Amazing experience! We will definitely come back when they do their buffets, I've heard it's amazing.
