I go to Wilhoite's often, always for music. They have the best salad bar around, I just wish they would go non-smoking, or limit smoking to the patio. It's hard to wash cigarette smoke smells out of clothes.

Went there to celebrate birthday with family. Food was not good at all. Our server kept apologizing to us for the food and dessert being cold. The only part of the buffet that was good was the salad. The burgers are bland.The restaurant smelled like cigarettes all over. I may go just for the bar setting , but not for restaurant.

Willhoite’s is fun - food is good, service is good, it’s dive bar looking without being a dive bar. But I’m asthmatic, and you can smoke in Wilhoites. And I guess officially you can only smoke in the bar - but they don’t more the air inside very efficiently, so the whole place reeks. I had to go home and wash my hair and clothes asap. If you’re a smoker, this is your place. But if you’re not, or if you have any sort of pulmonary problem, you’re going to want to avoid it.

Historical site turned into a great restaurant. They offer a buffet for lunch that almost always has something awesome, especially the salad bar! I also love their Hickory Burgers. Authentic art from the era of when the gas station/mechanic shop began. It's also nice to be able to play pool, when the tables aren't taken and the live music on weekends is worth checking out.

Went there based on customer reviews and prices from their website. The food was ok but not great. This is a buffet and none of the selections were topped or replaced the whole time we dined. We are seniors and told our server that we came for the $14.00 senior price (this is $1 off the full price). He immediately told us that the website price was wrong and we would have to pay full price as they had not updated their own website! Where did this restaurant get this server? We were so flabbergasted by this ridiculous statement over two dollars, that we just resolved to deal with this in a review. This was a horrible failure by this server who represents the management team. I feel sorry for a restaurant that values 2 dollars over customer service. We tipped our server 20% because maybe he needed the money too.
This a great spot to visit when visiting Dallas. The home town crowd is awesome here. Its located just minutes from DFW Airport So it makes sense to travel by day and come over to Willhoite's to cheer on your team, or grab a bite with your colleagues. The margarita was awesome!

Great food, came warm and some of the best tasting chicken strips I’ve ever had, bf got chicken fried steak and mash and it was definitely enough food to satisfy two. Our meals came with salad and soup, salad bar was clean and stocked and had so many options. Jess was our waitress and she consistently checked if we needed anything else and made sure our drinks were filled and our table was clean! Definitely a place to come back to

the server came up to us but didn’t tell us any prices, not a super wide selection at the buffet, and i just got a tiny salad and was charged $30 and wouldn’t let me just be charged for a normal salad price. just because it was the ‘holiday season’
