We were asked how spicy we wanted our food, and then we were directed to the small buffet, even though we ordered different spice levels. I’m not exactly sure what I got. Roti was cold and not so good. Flys were present to watch us eat.
I certain didn’t expect to find authentic Indian food in a tiny town in the Texas panhandle. In fact, this is one of only two restaurants in Groom. It is an authentic Punjabi-style dhaba rather than a full service restaurant—no frills but good quality, affordable, fast, filling, and flavorful food. Definitely did not expect this in the middle of nowhere in Texas at a truck stop, but our family was on a road trip, passing through and trusted the Google reviews when looking for a place to stop and eat ... So glad we did! The food was incredibly good! Highly recommend to anyone driving through Texas on the 40. If we ever drive that way again we'll definitely be back.
