The food is flavorless very simple, Definitely not original Mexican food! The chicken fajitas were decent , the chimichanga had way to much cheap cheese the took all the flavor away, and it made it salty. The best thing was the service and the home made

I read the reviews before coming and thought it must be a nice little hole in the wall restaurant. I wasn’t expecting it to be anything great, but I’m sorry are people getting paid to write these reviews? I wouldn’t even use the word decent.All the food had absolutely ZERO flavor. The beans, rice and chicken all were so bland. The queso tastes like Velveeta cheese melted down. The salsa tastes like it’s from a can. It is probably the worst food I have ever had in my life. No exaggeration. The only good thing about the experience here is the waiter was nice. If you’re used to actual good Mexican food like Lupe tortilla then do not waste your money coming here.

Food is always pretty good, but we quit going because the service was bad every single time. If there were more than 3 tables with customers, the staff seemed overwhelmed and couldn't keep up with anything.

Ate breakfast with Los Jalapenos and it was a great breakfast I ever had. I normally go there four times a day. My breakfast that I eat is three eggs over easy with steak and americana potatoes, and beans and three tortillas and coffee.

I realise my review is going against the grain here but the food was extremely bland. I had got the enchiladas and it tasted like there was just no seasoning at all in anything.The server was great, I loved the atmosphere, just I couldn't make myself eat the food. It really tasted like the ground meat had been cooked and drained with no seasoning at all, and then wrapped in a tortilla and served.Maybe they were just having an off day, but was very disapointed. They were kind enough to not charge for my meal, so thank you for that but I don't know thst I will be returning if I am in the area again.

Was driving through Texas and stopped here- will not be doing that again. The food was pretty bad. Service was ok. Honestly, I would have been better off at Taco Bell.
