This was my first time to go here and it was really good! A little bit of a wait for the food, but so worth it! Our server was a teenage girl that made sure our drinks didn't run out, but she wasn't overly present. It was a great experience.
Wife and I were on our way home from a visit to the Texas Panhandle. We needed to get home sooner rather than later but decided to go a little lot of our way to go here. It made our day. My daughter and I found this place a couple years ago and I'd been trying to get back since (we live in Denver). Anyway, El Vaquero was as good this time as before, and then some. New owners added some nice touches to the ambiance. The food was great. I had the huevos. Tasty and temperature hot....read full review

Friendly service, great food, decent prices. The fajitas and the fried rice dishes are amazing. And the small restaurant has a fun atmosphere to it.The one thing it does not have is great parking. Being directly on main Street you sometimes have to park a long way away to get to this place.
