Went there around 10 pm was gave 2 boxes of cold chicken tenders that taste Ike they been left out for 2 days. Called and he said sorry those were old and we would replace them. Got back next day when it was convenient for me to go to town and het told they can’t replace it cuz it ain’t in the book. I’m going to be calling corporate and health department.

My cousin & I came one afternoon so we could visit. We love the tea from Chciken Express so much that we came here. Brooklyn was our cashier and she was so pleasant & helpful in my ordering and even afterwards.
I, of course, had to order some of their yummy chicken & it was so delicious. The biscuits are smaller but yummy. The prices have increased and side portions are smaller but we would definitely be back.
Also Amber, the GM was very friendly too. All of the employees were really! We had a ball with them & this just might be our meeting place!

The girl up front was really nice and helped me very well. That was about the only good thing I experienced. The chicken was probably the worst I've had in my life. They must not believe in salt or seasoning. The chicken was really dry.

I use to love the chicken tenders and sides, about 2 years ago. I was in the area, so I stopped and bought a chicken tender combo... The food was pretty bad; the tea tasted awful... Did something happen with the old management and staff?

I’d give this place negative stars but my only option was at least one star. Horrible food. Chicken was dry and old. I couldn’t even chew it. The okra was horrible and hard. Rolls were super hard and crunchy. I discovered this after driving home. It was the worst food I ever ate. I ate about 12 hours ago and I’m still disgusted with it. Unbelievably horrible! Oh the corn on the cob was horrible as well. Gross gross gross

The chicken at Chicken Express would be hysterical if it wasn’t so sad. I understand that the democrats have caused inflation and 3 pieces of chicken without rolls or sides is more than $10. As if that’s not bad enough the chicken pieces are so small. The leg was 4”x1.5” and the thighs are 1/2” thick. There is no excuse for this. We will not go back until they fix this thieving. I took a picture but couldn’t find where to upload it.

It’s the third and final time picking up food at this terrible place, the order is always shorted paid for items, dry chicken, old rolls, just disgusting. The employees can never complete even a simple order, all my orders have been family size so take it from someone who’s been burned every time “costly especially for todays prices” STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLUSTER, well you know!
The service was bad. The chicken tenders I ordered was bad, and the okra sucked! I will not eat at the Gun Barrel City location again!
