China Cafe Restaurant

Once landed in Mabank for a week official trip to one of the factories, I was searching for Halal Food. Luckily, I got into China Cafe and was surprised to see such huge varieties of sea foods. All the foods are very tasty and meet the level of satisfaction of a Halal eater. Thanks, Mabank.

Nope! A few items were okay but most were not: tough or overcooked meat for several entrees, rice was okay, chicken wings were good. The bathrooms were clean. Staff were very nice.

I, myself, have issues with dining in to places; but I have so far enjoyed my experiences here. My father loves this place too. Wish the desert bar was more labeled, but overall things are labeled for easy understanding. It's a buffet, but I feel like sometimes there's things there, I assume geared towards kids, that don't quite fit? And you can always expect some foods to have inconsistency and oddities, but I expect that. The staff are excellent. I have never tried take out nor order, so I cannot comment on that. The atmosphere varies on how busy it is, but it's always nice enough to sit and dine in. Parking however, especially if you have a father whom has mobility issues, is a tad difficult but it is in a shopping center.

I ordered a Kung Pal chicken and asked for light spice and of course it was very spicy and the sauce has been real salty. Not gonna be ordering here anymore.

Most of the time it's very good this day. Most of the food that was suppose to be hot was cold. That wonton soup was the best.
