Great place for dinner. Our waitress, Jaelyn, was amazing! She was super savy with the menu and helped us choose the perfect meal for each of us! She was attentive and friendly, drinks stayed full and our chips never ran out! She even brought us complimentary in house made tortillas. She suggested the house margarita and it was delicious! The atmosphere was great and the food was the best tex-mex around the lake! We will definitely be back.. and we highly recommend you check it out. Ask for Jaelyn, she will take great care of you!

The chimichanga was more tortilla than meat.For the price, I was expecting more.
This jalapeno tree is why it's my all time favorite restaurant but let me say it's located in Gunbarrel, City Texas . The ladies and gentlemen there are top notch. From the young lady at front door who had the best an most genuine, small and personality that I have seen in any long in time. She truly brought my faith back to the new generation. I drove two hours just so I can go eat at a good restaurant and I did not get disappointed. It was well worth it. I recommend this jalapeno tree ?.And the food 100% homemade what can I say it was just perfect!......Parking: Plenty of room for busses boats trailer big rigs lots of handicap availabilityKid-friendliness: Kid menus ,colorful atmosphere, happy up beat music , wait staff very kind to the children and patient

Potential customers to jalepeno tree.
They have unfounded up charges that potentially double the price of your plate. I wanted to sub their grease soaked shredded chicken for fajita chicken and I was told it would be a 4 dollar up charge for that per enchilada. That is 12 additional dollars on a 12.79 three enchilada plate.
If enough of us complain then we can end these ridiculous up charges the feel they are entitled to.

As soon as you walk in there's somebody there greeting you he was very awesome and very kind and loved this vibe once we got seated and took them forever to give us service It took about 15 minutes to get my drink I place an order it took about 35 minutes and I still didn't have my food so I decided to cancel my food and just drank my drink and I decided to go somewhere else I will not come back it was just a bad service overall I don't know if they were new or what but I'm not coming back
