We love Waves by W456! I've written great reviews before, but just want to add that besides the amazing food, service, and ambience, David and Thomas have big hearts and are so willing to help our community. I asked David to donate something for the Mabank Fire Department's Annual Fish Fry Silent Auction, and was given the most awesome basket just full of wonderful items! Thank you so much for your kindness and tremendous generosity.Dietary restrictions: I love the way the chef serves my crab cake eggs benedict on grilled prosciutto to make it low carb for me. Thanks!

Such a unique spot. So much to take in! We absolutely loved it. The decor is amazing and the staff is so friendly. We got the charcuterie board, surf and turf and the soup of the week… all was wonderful. Drinks are mixed well! We will be back!

So they are now open under the name Waves and have brunch on Sundays. Went there today. Chicken and waffles was awful. I know how to fry chicken and this isn't it. Minimal batter and rubber chicken. Plates are small making it hard to even eat off of them. Service was great. Ambiance is over the top and fun but eating at tables that are knee high is not comfortable. Doubtful that we will return unless it's just for drinks. Definitely will not have brunch there again.

Ladies brunch - what a wonderful gem .. food was great … service was ABOVE our expectations and I work in the service industry …. Great atmosphere! The staff and service alone were a reason to return but you add great food and atmosphere and it’s no longer if we will return but when we return.

I love this place! I've been approx. 4-5 times. I have only gone there on Saturday for drinks & appetizers. Drinks were great & food delicious! The patio & restaurant are decorated like no other. Both are very eclectic, beautiful, comfy & inviting! The staff have always been very welcoming & attentive!
Wine bar- not a restaurant. Great service...fun people! Loved the camaraderie and atmosphere/ conversation. Food was good- slightly expensive!

why is this place empty on a friday night?!? the answer... marketing. you'd pass this place if you didn't have gps in your face, where are the bright lights and sign outfront?! this place need one desperately because this place is a GEM!!! BEAUTIFUL,UPSCALE,EFFORT! this place should be PACKED! if this place was on 6th street or deep ellum it would be a line out the door. the food is fantastic,drinks are just as good&the service is TOP tier. this is THE place for date night, night out, cocktail hour, anything. soo much detail put into this place, its insane for gbc. if you are 21+ you MUST stop here. we will be back. it reopened as a cocktail lounge around january 2023, not to confuse it with the restaurant it used to be. its october so they decorated the outdoors (pictured) for halloween it was so fun! inside the lounge is soo different but equally amazing in design. the only food item i didn't care for was the chocolate cake, it was dry and simple, without the creamcheese and berries it would have gotten a 0. 1 or 2 fine desserts would set it off, along with more marketing and a better entrance/signs so it's not so invisible
