The Haltom City Chicken Express does a fantastic job. We bought a chicken tenders combo and a catfish dinner. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. I worried about the catfish filet because often a fast food place will dry them out. But here, the fish was moist and well cooked. Their sides are great, too. We love the hush puppies, French fries, Cole slaw and fried okra. Now that we know about them, we will go back for our fried chicken, chicken tenders and catfish.

I ordered a 3 piece chicken meal and got 3 legs. All 3 of them were completely raw. I took off the batter later thankfully before I took a bie or else I’d probably be pretty sick… this should not be allowed to be sold, who knows how many people today ate raw chicken without knowing. Something needs to be done

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered jalapeños poppers was told 3 is all you get for a side. Picture of sides shows more than 3. During the week I have eaten here and was given 5. Was eating my cold tenders and they were cut so thin with breading they are thinner than my fork. $37 and change for 3 to eat. I won't be coming back for a while.

The person at the drive-thru window was rude and got my order wrong — even swapped my drink for a side without asking. I tried to stay positive, but the attitude really ruined the experience. Please train staff to be more polite and double-check orders.
