While out running errands a few days ago, I was in the area and decided to take my adult son there for his very first Clown Burger. It had been many years since I had last had one myself, so I was hoping they were still just as good. I was SO happy to see that they accepted cards now and were no longer just cash only. We got the food to go and when I mentioned to the cashier that this was his first Clown Burger ever, they went above and beyond for him from a few extra fries, to a little extra seasoning and just being really great to him. We got into the car, and he immediately reached in the bag. I'm not even sure we had made it back to 820 when I realized he'd already devoured the entire burger. He absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back there again on his own. They do have two different types of fries now, so be sure to ask for the crinkle cut fries if you'd prefer those instead of the new one's they're serving.

Ate there today when passing through on the way home. I ordered a double with cheese and grilled onions, wife ordered a single with cheese and the kids had small plain burgers. Also ordered a basket of fresh cut fries (always a plus in my book if the fries are fresh cut, definitely made my decision on going here or the burger place down the street). Burgers were freshly made and delicious. The fries were amazing. Staff was friendly. Definitely will stop here again if in the area.

I’m new to this area so I’m not biased and I believe I would be able to give a better perspective on this historical landmark. I was told that these burgers were the best and was very disappointed, especially for the price. No seasoning on the burgers and the fries was just a soggy, greasy mess with zero seasoning or salt. Also the place is disgusting. Like haven’t been cleaned since the 80s disgusting. The only this nice was the customer service lol. In the end I’m all for supporting a local landmark, that’s the main reason I went but to see what shape it was in and how disappointing the food is…. Yeah I will not be going back

Great place. Love the vibes here. I wish I got to visit this place when it was cash only. I saw pictures of the chairs being written on, feels like a piece of history gone.
I ordered a single burger, onion rings, and a hot dog.
The only drawback I have is the pricing on a few things, I'm sure many things factor into this. I wish there were more onion rings. Or at least the price of them not be over $5. One of my pieces was also filled with the tough outer layer of the onion, so it was difficult for me to chew.
