After seeing other reviews and recommendations for the fried fish, we had to give this place a try. It's a typical counter service style restaurant. I ordered the 2 piece fish combo. The fish was fried fresh and steaming hot when served. Crinkle cut fries were crispy, fresh and had some incredible seasoning on sprinkled on top. They make their own tarter sauce too. It's Ike no other and almost addictive. Now back to the fish. The combo came with 2 large filets. They were fried perfectly. Crispy and golden on the outside and fully cooked but not overly done on the inside. Fish was seasoned well and tasted great! They forgot to put hushpuppies on out plates. No big deal because we still had plenty of food to eat.

I was not a fan of the service. Although the gentlemen taking my order was kind, the meeting the wants of the customer was absent. I felt the unstated message was, "Order what we prepared." I went one Sunday evening around 6:00 p.m. to order some fried chicken. I wanted a ten piece mixed but the gentlemen that assisted me stated, "We don't have any white meat. I didn't know if that meant, "We don't have any ready would you like to wait, or we don't have any to cook." Nonetheless, I learned this kind of service is the norm when another customer drove to the drive-in window and requested fried wings. He was given the a similar dissatisfying response, "We don't have any wings." Nonetheless. I ordered a ten piece dark for family and friends who were at home waiting for dinner with some corn nuggets and fries. The chicken was fried nicely with little taste but the friends and corn nuggets were tasty. The ambiance is plan. Prepare to come out smelling like fried food if you dine in. I did not dine in but standing in there for the 14 minutes I waited I was smelt as if I came out the cooker.

Hubby had the chicken and he enjoyed it. The price is good for a good amount of food. Service was pleasant and fast, will be one of our lunch or quick dinner spots. We came in crispy chicken looked at the menu! After 10 mins the guy came up to get our order we ordered the family meal with the catfish I wanted White Meat chicken No where was there a sign saying we are Out on white meat chicken! The guy replied we don't have white meat chicken! So he NEED A SIGN OUT SAYING THEY DON'T CARRY WHITE MEAT CHICKEN THERE JUST DARK MEAT CHICKEN ! EVERY ONE DONT EAT DARK MEAT CHICKEN!SO LET THE CUSTOMERS NO LONGER CARRY WHITE MEAT CHICKEN THATWas my first time there !
