Great food and fast service. I can on a Friday night, and it was very busy, but our food came out quickly.

We always pass by this place but never stopped so today we decided to eat here and OMG absolutely delicious my wifey had the Chile reneno and that was delicious so full of flavor I had the taco salad fajita so so so delicious im definitely coming back, I love all the service and atmosphere great atmosphere

We've been here a few times before and always had great service and food. Today my wife and I came for dinner and had the beef and chicken combo fajitas with grilled shrimp for two and the food was awesome. The portions were definitely large for the price, we each had our own plate of refried beans and rice. Plenty of food that we had to take some home. My wife had one of their flaming sugar cube margaritas 🍹 and I had a long Island ice tea and both were well made and well priced! This place is going to be one of our date night spots for sure!

We were on the hunt for authentic caldo after my husband woke up with a sore throat, and El Tejas delivered! I ordered the caldo de res for pickup, and when I arrived, I was treated like family. The sweet woman helping me explained that she separated the corn because it was too big to fit in one container and even set aside rice and pico de gallo. It’s the little things and this place absolutely has heart. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a great little Mexican restaurant with homemade tasting food. We love the tacos and they give you a lot of meat taco Tuesday is a great time to go tacos are around $1.75 enchiladas are great so is there nachos, chips and queso and they bring you three kinds of salsa. Their tortillas are homemade and they have delicious sweet tea. The service is always good.

Ordered food from here and boy was it a mistake! Food was literally ice cold! Ice cold chicken enchiladas, beans and rice. Corn tortillas were so hard! Tortilla chips were hard and stale. My dogs wouldn't even eat the food! My bologna sandwich was much better because this food went down the garbage disposal!

My family once loved El Tejas. It was our go to restaurant but this last visit seal it's fate. I can understand a waitress you are training. But someone must be watching her to explain what she had done wrong. No fault of the young lady at all. My son ordered the quesodillias chicken with sour cream sauce. I orderd the chicken fijaitias. The guacamole was soured and the chicken was black, cold and dry almost to the point you could not cut it. My sons quesodillias the meat was dry with no flavor but the soured sour cream sauce. Tasted like it had been left our way to long and had gone bad. We complained to the manager who gave us replacement quesodillias to go, but at home it was more of the same. Out of the 3 of us that evening 2 of us was sick. It was so bad.. What once was a great place to eat has gone down hill to the point none of my family will ever go back.

The food selection is vast. The food is excellent. The prices will bring you back. Outside porch dining, bar dining, tables, booths and they can even handle large groups (be cool and call ahead). I'm going again with friends and trying that steak.

Food was good, very Attentive service. Main/only issue was fruit flies everywhere and all surfaces sticky. Place needs a good scrub down. Other then that food was good.

The food here is always excellent. The atmosphere is truly authentic and the service is 100%. They even have free ice cream as you finish your meal.
