⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Good Bread, but Needs Some Improvements
I’ve visited Monique’s Bakery a few times. Their pan dulce has a nice variety and tastes good, which I definitely appreciate. That said, there are a few things that could make the experience better.
The staff always speaks to me in Spanish—which is fine because I’m bilingual—but I’m not sure if they speak English, since it’s never been offered. That could make it hard for customers who don’t speak Spanish.
Customer service is okay—not rude—but a warmer greeting or just a friendly smile would make a big difference. I’ve also noticed they don’t usually have fresh coffee brewed, which is surprising for a pan dulce spot.
Another thing to point out is that none of the bread is labeled with prices, so you don’t know what you’re paying until it’s rung up. And honestly, the prices are a bit on the high side, especially for not knowing the cost up front.
Overall, the pan dulce is good, but the customer service, transparency, and overall vibe could definitely be improved. Hoping to see some changes because the bakery does have potential.
Great services , fresh bread and bread Mexican antojitos 🫶🏼🫶🏼 nice place... Very recommended.
I love concha but today for reason the pan dulce was not that good.
This establishment offers exceptional bread and pastries; I highly recommend it.

Very delicious bread
Bad service and don’t get your order right. Ordered some tamales for Thanksgiving and they were completely raw.

Idk what else to say about this place that hasn’t already been said. They are simply the best local bakery period. The breads are soft and fresh daily. Sweet breads and cookies are delicious and always plentiful with a wide arrangement of typical Mexican and surprisingly some Italian style pastry too. But the thing they are most known for are the delicious cakes. They do not use butter cream rather whip cream which is always rich and velvety soft. The tres leches cakes are the best in the area as well

They have a big selection of bread, I made a big purchase and kindly asked the cashier for a box for my bread as she was putting it in multiple little paper bags. It didn’t seem like she liked the idea so she proceeded to tell me I needed to pay for a box to get my stuff packaged properly. Since when is this a thing? It was just rude.

Excellent service and very delicious 🍞 bread
First time visiting, and it is a great little bakery. The owner was so sweet and let us know what we bought and what they had in them. The treats we bought had great flavors and just the right amount of sweetness. My grandsons loved the treats they got as well.
We will be back for more.
