The woman taking the orders is disrespectful to every single customer I’m surprised she still works there She’s more than likely the owners family member that’s the only way I can see them keeping her around Beyond rude and gets upset when she cannot understand you .
These are our absolute favorite Bahn Mi Sandwiches. You can get topping on the side or in the sandwich. We like getting them on the side, order extra for the next day (buy 3 get 1 free), and toast in them in the oven when we get home. Must try!

It is crazy to me how someone who goes to a restaurant where English isn't the first language spoken has the gall to call them rude. I don't speak a lick of vietnamese but the older lady who took my money was nice and straightforward, and my grilled pork bánh mì tasted amazing, especially for only 5 bucks.

Order 9 Banh Mi and it supposed to be buy 3 get one free total of 12 Banh Mi but I got 11 when I got home
lady at the counter is definitely high energy but i cant call her rude. she was very kind to us and patient while i looked through the snacks. honestly, i just think its a cultural difference. viet people tend to talk loudly (or shout...) and bluntly, but usually theres no malice behind it.she gets the job done with no frills. the buy 3 get 1 free is a good deal too, and it worked out for us since we were ordering 4 anyways.
ordered thit nuong banh mi and i really enjoyed it. i'm happy that the veggies come on the side so they dont get too soggy. the lemongrass in the pork was delicious. oh, also the dried mango with chili was good. i'm definitely coming back here sometime.

You know the food will be good when everyone complains about the lady’s attitude but still go back there and the shop has been there forever. Personally, I never had any bad experiences at the shop. Just go there, tell her what you want, pay, wait, and leave. I am not sure what people expecting for take outs. And I don’t speak Vietnamese.

I always make a stop to get their sandwiches. It's priced just right and so delicious.
The banh mi was ok. Not bad, but the protein was on the bland side. The texture of the banh mi was good though, but the meat was bland. I tried the grilled pork, meatball (xiu mai), combination, chicken. I was expecting the chicken to be grilled, but it wasn't.
The veggies came separately in a bag. If I knew this, I would have requested to include it all on the banh mi.
