The lady behind the counter keeps getting orders wrong and is not able to understand my order. I have to repeat it multiple times and doesn't remember what we ask for, for ex. extra pate and the veggies in the sandwich, and I got no extra pate and veggies on the outside. I am usually a patient person but this has happened multiple times unfortunately :/ I think the lady just doesn't understand and is just trying to rush through customers but gets their order wrong anyways

The food is not bad, but every time I go the lady either gets my order wrong, or gives out the wrong order. She's rude. One time there were 2 customers: one guy ordered 8 sandwiches and one guy ordered 1. The dude who ordered 1 sandwich got 7 for free. Today I ordered 4 sandwiches, and she forgot and thought I ordered 1. So I had to wait even longer. If I could give 0 stars for service I would.

LISTEN!! PREP URSELF! The lady is your stereotypical “HURRY UP AND BUY!” Asian lady. So just take a moment before you walk in buttt besides that the banh mi combination and banh bao! 10/10. Taste like I’m back in Vietnam. Typical rude service but good food Asian restaurant. Iykyk

I love vietnamese food and was looking forward to trying this place based on what seemed to be good reviews. Here is my take as a non Asian but Asian food and dive enthusiast. I was surprised, but there is what amounts to no seating other than a few basic tables and hard plastic chairs that are right against the counter, coolers, and waiting people. The pictures looked like more seating, but no one would want to sit here. There is very little space overall. There is some food set out in boxes to take and go. Other food is in glass coolers like authentic fish, puddings, etc. The older lady at the counter speaks NO English to ask questions or tell her to take off peppers, for example. Us not knowing her language seemed to irritate her to no end! Perhaps it's only meant for locals. Haltom City has a large Vietnamese population due to Carter's 1980 refugee act. Many settled in Haltom City. These is a multitude of real Vietnamese restaurants. This place has GREAT prices. 4 full-size Bahn Mi for $17. The meat is sparsely applied. The dark chicken bahn mi had a gelled piece like the bottom of a cold rotteserie chicken. The pork one is made into ground pork patties. It had a good taste. They added plenty of good pickled veggies, however, cucumber was so bitter we thought we bit into a cleaning product! The taste lasted and ruined it all. I would suggest the BBQ pork, if anything. Seriously, I felt I would end up with a stomach ache after eating, but it was apparently ok. For price, I don't see a better deal. Dare to go and try it for yourself!

Very Rude lady. Attitude and entitled. Tells people to get out of the way and got upset at us for trying to read the menu. Then told us to hurry up. Everyone needs to report this place to the better business bureau.

Foods are good. Come back if you can put up with impolite customer service even when you pay and bring in business to them. The main selling lady in the front is rude and moody. She can throw attitudes to customers. Not good customer service skills. I'd give 5 stars if they change the front person.

The sandwiches from here are so good! It is definitely a take out place. They always have great deals, and the sandwiches are so cheap! It is buy 3 sandwiches, get one free! I paid $17 for 4 sandwiches! I got the combo, fried fish cake and fried egg! They were all delicious! Service is pretty quick!

The woman taking the orders is disrespectful to every single customer I’m surprised she still works there She’s more than likely the owners family member that’s the only way I can see them keeping her around Beyond rude and gets upset when she cannot understand you .
