Been going here ever since they were at Ducky's down the road. Some of the best carne asada/chicken tacos in Texas over here! Only recommendation is to stay away from the barbacoa tacos. They were relatively mushy and bland. Everything else is phenomenal, it's like I never moved from Cali.

Ordered three Barbacoa burritos and three can cokes it’s like I ordered a burrito with nothing but rice beans and cheese hardly any meat in it tortilla was soggy and I didn’t even get the three sodas I ordered worse 42$ I have ever spent on 3 burritos

I used to come here more frequently when I lived in the area and absolutely love the nachos here ! My last order by mistake was incorrect and the lady that answered the phone corrected it for me immediately and was so KIND !!! Love this place :)

Service is always quick, kind, restaurant is always clean! I’m pretty sure it’s family owned as well, so wish them all the success.

Taco Chon in Haltom City is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious—authentic, flavorful, and always fresh. Their street tacos are some of the best I’ve had in the area, and the birria tacos are next level. You can tell everything is made with care and quality ingredients.
