We drove a little over an hour to eat at crossfire. We are a family of seven. And every one of us got sick. We contacted the restaurant and they basically told us to get lost. I do not recommend this place. They were out of menu items as well. Service was a little slow as well. Don't waste your money.

Went here for our anniversary dinner and it was amazing. Our waiter Jay was friendly and attentive. Chili con queso and chips were a great starter. Steaks were tender and exquisitely cooked, complimented with a fresh house salad and a glass of Merlot. We are not versed in the livestock arena sports environment, but this restaurant inside the arena can stand on its own for excellence, and should definitely be experienced by anyone in the area looking for a great steak.

Crossfire Cafe is great. We ate after the bull riding. The food was so good, waitress was great, and price was reasonable.

We went there on Father’s Day. I ordered the Texas sushi. It came with an Arugula salad and a sliced tomato. The whole entree was so over seasoned and salty! Even the tomato!!

My food and my husband's food was just ok ... I am sorry but it's hard to enjoy steak and baked potatoes when they are cold... We had a large party but still... That is my biggest complaint with any restaurant is COLD

We were 1st guests when it opened. Great server, but food came too quickly. Appetizers had barely hit the table when the salads arrived, shortly after came the entrais. Steaks were very good.

The menu has been changed about a month ago. New menu consists of goat cheese everywhere. Personally, it’s not for me, or the rest of my family. We used to go here all the time, not any more. They took the chicken fried steak off the menu. They took the green chili & cheese grits off and subbed it for goat cheese and bacon grits (it’s gross). I know that chefs like to change up the menus, but he is headed downhill quick. I absolutely would not recommend until the menu is changed. The staff is fantastic, all so sweet and efficient.

We had a great evening of food and drink. My wife ordered the 8oz filet. It had pretty basic seasoning, a little salt and pepper it would seem, but was cooked a spot on medium and was a good piece of meat. All in all about a 7+ for the steak flavoring. I hate to do that, but here's the rub. It seems that there were selections of flavors to go with the steak as an add-on. We only sometimes do add -ons but if it were recommended, I suspect she would have done that, and knowing what we know now. The lady was new and so this will not take away from the 5 stars that this place deserves as I know some may just like salt and pepper, which is how I generally cook mine, but this was hers. I had the catfish etouffee and here is how that turned out. The catfish was fried to perfection. The flavoring was spot on and the shrimp etouffee had just the right amount of spices and seasoning. The rice with it was also seasoned and cooked very well I would give my dish a solid 9+. What was needed for the 10? The lemon wedge they gave with it was cooked on one side and not the other, leaving a just barely overly citrus flavor. Cooked on both sides it would have burned off a bit more citrus, leave ng it with a great flavoring and I would have had given the long sought after 10. Phenomenal and I will be back to have that again. Wife ordered the mashed potatoes and side salad as well. The potatoes were creamy, buttery, flavorful, bits of thin peel which totally added to the flavor, cooked perfectly and it was a pretty big bowl, enough for two oddly enough. Wife and I agree, perfect 10. Her salad though, looked like a bowl of leafy greens with cheese on it and a cucumber slice. She added a bit of dressing and then proceeded in with the fork. Tomatoes, cheese, cucumber, onion, pepperoncini and just a great mix all around. She thoroughly enjoyed it, but I didn't ask her rating. I will have to score that later. (To be added here). Then dessert. The waitress had somehow not seen that her ticket didn't print and so she offered us a free dessert, ok. We were having a great time and the service times were just fine, even with that error. I didn't know... :). So, we had an amazing dessert, drunken bread pudding a la mode. Just wow! All the flavors were there. Not overly sweet. Warm vs cold and just the right amount of sauce. That earned a 10. We hadn't had that great of a desert since Del Frisco's in Fort Worth, with one of their old desserts that they changed profiles on us. Forgot, the rolls at Crossfire. Yeast rolls, fun flavoring, buttery and a little garlicky. Solid 9. The waitress was sweet, it was a nice place, not overly loud. Old country feel inside of an arena... And I'm glad the smell from the arena didn't permeate into the restaurant. Wheh. Such a great meal and such a great time. Will be back for certain. Oh and it was priced right also, shockingly. Final note. Crossfire is the name of the team I called my son's soccer team for about 8+ seasons. Didn't realize the name of restaurant until I looked at the menu... Good stuff.

Hate the new menu. Took off two of our staple favorites. Chicken fried steak and Alfredo.
