Great place to drive out to during the weekend to for a family outing. I like visiting here to get my bison fix. Employees are pretty much always friendly too.
Just stopped by here on my way through. I have to say the lady at tje counter selling the fudge r8ggt when you walk in was incredibly amazing. She was so sweet. As for the lady from the deli who brought up the lady with the louis vuitton purse amd had her check her out right in the middle of us talking with the lady and ordering our order she needs to learn some manners. The lady had many items she was trying to buy and to have us wait on all of that is rude when we had already been there before she ever walked up. We were polite as we should have been but I will not return here again on my way through next time. The blonde girl needs to treat people with respect
This used to be a pretty cool place to stop. I stopped in here on my way home from a work trip and was pretty excited about it. Unfortunately it’s nothing like I remember as a kid. The staff was unbelievably rude when I asked a simple question about fudge. I asked about some pickles I used to get every time we stopped here and once again met with an attitude from the staff. The stuff they sell in store is mostly made in china dollar store crap. Doesn’t look like I’ll be going out of my way to stop here again. Maybe a beaver based gas station will open in this area and take care of this place. Severely disappointed in Dutchman’s.
Super nice people! Sandwiches are always good and fresh. We have to stop every time for chocolate covered coffee beans, chocolate orange peels, and dressed toffee squares! Neat oddities and toys all throughout. I highly recommend to anybody that I know is gonna be passing through here!
We stopped in for the first time. A fun place with lots of things to look at. We had great sandwiches for a quick lunch. The cinnamon roll was a fun treat. The outside area in the back is beautiful. Highly recommend.
The cutest spot. The most friendly people working! We stop here every time we pass by on our way to San Antonio. It’s a true gem. The best treats and knickknacks! If you have 5-10 minutes—stop by…it’s worth your time.
Favorite stop, bar none! No modern , super travel stop even holds a candle to Dutchman’s offerings! Look forward to it every time passing through.
Awesome deli sandwiches, bison jerky, butters, candy, salsas, everything! Always plan to stop here on our road trips to San Antonio.
Everything is delicious, staff if extremely welcoming!
Great stop with lots to look at! Good variety of goodies, and their sandwiches are delicious!

Cool place to stop while on a trip, excellent sandwiches, homemade ice cream and chocolate, preserves and other stuff, there's a nice covered area in back with a little creek running through it, which is dog friendly ..
This is the best candy shop I’ve ever been to. It deserves all the hype, and its saltwater taffy is to die for as well as the fudge.
What started as a “no other clean bathrooms for too many miles to count” stop turned into a “we can’t believe we never stopped here before” stop.
On a recent urbexxing afternoon, my family and I found ourselves wishing ghost towns and cemeteries had public restrooms. Unfortunately they do not, so we steeled ourselves for a drive to Hamilton to find a restroom and came upon Dutchman’s. This place must utilize time lord technology because I swear it’s “bigger on the inside.”
In addition to the fully stocked German deli counter, here’s a list of what I noticed in the time I was able to browse:
* home goods
* clothing, including socks
* novelty vintage toys
* fudge
* saltwater taffy in any combination you can imagine
* freshly ground cowboy coffee (or whole bean)
* condiments and jellies
* gifts for anyone, any age
The list goes on and on. You just have to check it out for yourself the next time you’re driving through. I can’t believe I never stopped at this charming location before.
…and yes, the bathrooms are clean.
Sign on the building said it was open until 6. Went in at 5:30 and they said the grill was already turned off. Goodbye.
