I'm not one to usually write reviews...and this is not about the food.

What I will say is beware the staff and management. My family and I were passing through Hamilton on the way to Abilene. I was pulling a trailer and accidentally knocked down a trash can that was sitting in the driveway. I got out of my vehicle, reset the trash can and found a place to park while my wife placed our order.

All of the sudden an employee was at my car door demanding my insurance information for hitting their trash can which I refused. I got the locations manager on the phone and was given a story about how people had hit their building and left. So now they wanted me to pay for their beloved trash can.

I would have no problem replacing something I damaged, but the can was back up collecting trash before I left. AND it was still there when I passed through Hamilton on my way home 3 days later.

5 months later I get a phone call and a bill for said trash can (with the invoice). When I questioned the cost and why it took 5 months I was told they could order other supplies from suppliers, but the trash can had to come from a corporate supplier...a Sonic supplier. $500+ for the can and $500+ for shipping.

$1200 later (after I consulted my lawyer and insurance agent) the bill has been paid. But buyer beware, don't mess up in this Sonic or you may pay more for that food than you planned.

Horrible location that cheated us. On Friday, 12/26, we ordered two Premium Chicken Bites combo meals. Half of each of the orders were filled with 5 tater tots at the bottom. Exactly 5 each and down at the bottom of the container. That doesn't happen by accident; it was clearly purposeful. I don't trash places in my reviews - you can check them out. I normally praise places.

High Water

Ordered the food less than 5 minutes from the location, checked in and 12 minutes after the order was placed, I received my order. The issue with the order is it was cold. As I was just passing through, it was more of a hassle to turn around and have the order corrected. Make sure you check your order before you leave.

Carhops were outside talking to someone while I waited for service and then her mic wasn't working properly. Once she came out to take my order she was friendly but no apology for the wait.

I really like Hamilton Sonic when I go there when my sister the carhops know who we are because we go frequently and that is appreciated sometimes we have a problem with the app but the manager seems to take care of the business and I greatly appreciate that. Those girls work hard and they should be recognized for the great work they do.

For the last few months anything we buy here is extremely over salted and burgers, chicken sandwiches etc are burned or at least over cooked in old oil... Not sure who has been cooking for the last few months, but it's concerning.

So today( 9/15) I got an ultimate burrito, too much egg not enough sausage, my SO got a sausage burrito and had maybe 2/3 pieces of sausage in it, and again too much egg. My coffee I requested easy chocolate, it’s chocolate overload in it. My fries were not fresh nor were they full all the way.
