This particular bush’s chicken had a great staff when I visited there. A lot of chain restaurants employ people that don’t care, I was treated very well.

The owners need to do better! This is a prime location and there is always a ridiculous wait time when there are no lines!!! lol I don’t get it?!? How are they still in business. Always people leaving without ordering or driving away smh! its a chicken place there should always be chicken 🍗

Just had to throw away $40 worth of food from this place... Everything was terrible! The gizzards were so bad you couldn't even chew them and one of them was green in the middle 🤢🤮... We ddnt even get the fries we ordered and they couldn't even mark the cup which one is diet... We will not be going back here any time soon that's for sure!

Justin and Mykala were courteous and quick to take my order, making sure that everything was fresh! The cook (didn't get his name) provided great commentary from the kitchen area, that made it seemed like they actually enjoyed working for the company!!

Went to order in the lobby, no cars in the drive through. Took over 25-30 minutes for literally two fries and a buffalo fries. Incompetent employees.

During a recent trip to Austin, Texas, I made a stop in Harker Heights, just outside of Killeen, to get a bite. My friend had a taste for fried chicken and suggested Bush's Chicken. The experience was excellent.
We ordered a variety of items, including a 20-piece chicken wing meal, green beans, mac and cheese, chicken gizzards, chicken tenders for the kids, and rolls. The total came to around $100.
The service was outstanding. The young staff members were helpful and knowledgeable, and they accommodated my request for separate chicken wings. The food took a little time to prepare, but it was worth the wait. Everything was fresh, hot, and well-seasoned.
As a fan of crunchy chicken, I was pleased with the texture and taste. The sides, especially the green beans, were also delicious. Even after eating a substantial amount, I didn’t feel overly full or sluggish.
Overall, my experience at Bush's Chicken in Harker Heights was fantastic. If I find myself in the area again, I’ll definitely be back.
