There was a party in another room & it sounded like they were truly having a great time! Unfortunately, my 5 month-old niece didn't tolerate the party sounds, so we changed our meal plans to take out. Our waitress took our order & changed our order to take out. We had the fried cod fish, mac'n'cheese, & cornbread - delicious!!Vegetarian options: I think some of the veggies are seasoned with meat.

Waiter was quite rude!!! All because we arrived 30 minutes before a special would be available, She was upset because we ordered coffee and decided to wait at our table for the 30 minutes that we had to wait to be served the special we wanted. The waiter was quite rude to my wife, we were debating on just paying for our coffee and leaving to have our dinner at the country kitchen in Lampasas Texas where we were staying in the Best Western Hotel. Also when I went to pay after we finally got to eat, the lady at the register was talking on her phone with her back to me as I laid our receipt on the counter, she ignored me and I stood there like a fool trying to get checked out. I once loved eating at this Cracker Barrol in Harker Heights Texas,For now on me and my wife will just go to Lampasas Texas And Eat At The Country Kitchen Cafe.

Food was decent, and a good price. The wait took a little bit longer than expected. My son did order a limited time French toast bake and I will say if you have loose teeth, or no teeth at all do not order this. It's extremely hard!

We were seated immediately but took over 15 min for our waitress to come take our drink order even though they served 2 tables that came in after us, we had to ask for our waitress and by that time we knew what we wanted to order. This is the second time this has happened to us at this location that used to be good for us.

My curbsides pickup are was an excellent experience and ordering over the Cracker Barrel APP was simple and seamless. The best part of my recent curside pickup was that before I could finished parking and informing the server I had arrived, She was at my vehicle with a friendly smile saying she looked out the window and saw my vehicle. I was impressed and very pleased. I always receive excellently service at the Harker Heights Cracker Barrel and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Been here a few times but this time was mediocre at best. After dropping our food off we didn't see our waitress until the end of our meal, after asking other waitresses to help. When she did return she was short with us and didn't even speak. Eggs came out either old or overcooked. Not sure if we'll be returning

Curbside is always quick, friendly, professional service. Food is packaged well, but I usually need to warm something up when I get home. Probably just a timing/pickup issue. Enjoying the app ~ free or discounted food with their "reward peg" system.
