Taqueria Mexico

We've been coming here for years and today's visit was so disappointing. The service sucked. We had to go to the bar and order our own drinks and when we told the waiter at checkout he said oh you should have flagged me down. The manager walked by our table at least 4 times and not once did he come check on our table. I will definitely be taking my money to another establishment that cares about their customers and giving great service.

Taqueria Mexico served my vegetarian husband meat — twice. My husband is a vegetarian, so the first thing we did was ask if the enchilada chili sauce or the beans had meat. The waiter said no to both. The enchiladas came out with meat gravy, which I immediately noticed. When I brought it up, the waiter checked and still insisted it didn’t. We asked for something else instead, and my husband ordered a taco salad with beans. He took one bite and knew something was wrong — turns out the beans are cooked in pork lard. He ended up sick to his stomach and went to the car. When I asked to speak with the manager, she was dismissive, rude, and tried to argue that the gravy “didn’t have meat.” She finally admitted the beans do, in fact, have meat (pork lard), but they still charged us for the dish. This was dishonest, unsafe, and unacceptable. If you’re vegetarian, vegan, or have dietary restrictions, this is NOT a safe place to eat.

First time here and omg it was delicious!!! 10/10

We ordered pickup the reason we gave atmosphere 4 stars. Service was 5 stars, I was greeted when I came in the staff is very friendly and helpful. Food, if I could have give it a 10 stars I would have, fantastic we really liked it. Price was on point, well worth the money. Definitely will be ordering again.

This place used to have pretty good food but my experience today was far from that. The food was God Awful. I ordered a steak quesdilla which all you could taste was the salt and it was so greasy it left a pool on my plate. Also the Pico and guacamole looked like it was days old. My dinner companion ordered beef street tacos and the meat was completely bland. Neither of us could finish our plates and needless to say we did not take away any leftovers. Hope they can turn it around to what they once were.

I stop here whenever I get in town. When I lived here it was almost a weekly occurrence.
This is not TexMex, so enjoy a new experience. Great food!

I went into this restaurant to celebrate Father’s Day and I ordered a beer at 10:45 AM and was refused service because I was told I had to have a meal in front of me in order to have a beer.

Upon paying for my meal, I was first given a check for $14 And after I gave my credit card to the waitress, I received another receipt for $25. Apparently, they ran my credit card without my permission to a higher amount.

I was then told that there was $1.25 surcharge because I ordered a imported beer instead of domestic beer, which was not on the menu.

Hidden charges and lack of integrity placement in a position where I will never go back to this restaurant again.

I have visited this restaurant recently after taking a hiatus. I can clearly see a decline in service and quality of this establishment. Aggressive flies landing on food , tacos lukewarm and billing errors. When I approached management about surcharges their response was prices are subject to change as detailed on door. They do not show bar prices…surprise !
