Best BBQ in Texas by A LONG SHOT & when he added in the PULLED PORK WITH HOMEMADE VINEGAR BADE SAUCE....I was in HEAVEN.

Apparently, this used to be really good food. I went here in August 2020 & the food was less than expected. As I walked in I should have turned around. I had to wait longer than usual with only one person ahead of me. The owner was moving around slowly, according to him due to some physical problems. The chicken was charred black & didn't look good. Because of the reviews, I went ahead & bought a rib sandwich. Sides did not look appetizing, potato salad was setting out with the rest of the sides. About 5 regulars were sitting in there eating & drinking beer. The physical appearance of the place was less than desirable. I agree with all of the other 1&2 star reviews. The rib sandwich was just okay, have not been back. Don't want to hurt anyone's business. Just was not for me.

To be clear, they are closed every third Saturday. Poor me didn't know before driving there.

I don't know if this address is permanently closed, but it was closed 08/11/20 at 5:30 pm, just a pad lock on the door.

Food here is fantastic and price can’t be beat. Don’t let the outside scare you off. Best potato salad and outstanding smoked meats. Well worth a drive

Simply the best. Drove hours out of our way to eat here on our last road trip through the area. The hot links and Ranch beans are amazing. The owner is extremely kind as well. Gave us ice for our cooler!

This is a family favorite. ALL the meats are top notch. And Lee has the best potato salad anywhere. All sides are great. Desserts are all excellent, too. You always get great service and some of the best bbq there is. You can’t go wrong supporting this local business.

My husband and I stopped by after a recommendation; we were NOT disappointed! We had the Full House platter, and enjoyed some peach cobbler for dessert. It was incredible!Be sure to stop by and enjoy the fare if you ever get the opportunity. We will be back!
