Look non place further if you want excellent BBQ in San Antonio/Helotes area. This place is quick, friendly, and the best tasting bbq sauce and bbq in SA and top 3 in Texas. You can’t go wrong on ordering and the setting is perfect as well. Open on Sundays. Make the drive to visit then and the cute historic town right outside.
We got the “date night” meal and the amount of food you get is good for like 4 people. I wanted to eat it all cause it was really good, but it was a lot of food. We ate outside and other than the occasional bee trying to get into your soda, it was a great open area.
Deep in Old Helotes, delicious bbq, smiles, portions...always fantastic! I usually get the tacos with their amazing slaw (I grew up HATING slaw...but, LOVE theirs on the tacos). I just had their gigantic spud with chopped brisket! Whaaaaaaa?!?! I couldn't finish it. Great place.
