Busted Sandal’s beer is okay, but we came here at 2pm on a Sunday for a beer and they were closed. Google and their website both say open at noon on Sundays and nothing on their social to indicate a change.
Busted Sandal Beer Garden in the Helotes Old Town shops area has great atmosphere with indoor seating in air conditioning and outdoor seating at picnic tables and many other tables scattered around the grounds. The beer is excellent, they tap new ones all the time. Yesterday Sunday the 16th of October they had three new ones on tap two ipas and a pumpkin Porter, have to say all three were excellent. Hector working the tap behind the bar is friendly and well informed about the beers. Check the place out you'll enjoy it!
Very cozy. We tried the watermelon beer..you must try it!! The beer was nice and cold!!
Busted sandal was a bit hidden away in the shops at Old Town Helotes, but in building #5 we got a 9 beer sampler for $20 and enjoyed tasting nearly all of their offerings. Lots of good outdoor space and tasty beer (especially loved the 210 watermelon beer and tripel).
Love the beer and the customer service is great it's quiet and quant and close to home

Our bar tenders (I wish I caught her name) was so knowledgeable and made our time here extremely enjoyable.
Love this small location! It's connected to the courtyard so it's a great place to grab a beer or ipa, the staff here rock and good Hill country vibe, food located nearby!
