Cheese Pizza $18* Rating 6.7/10Italian Sub $13* Rating 7.2/10Caveat: Will be coming back, but will ask that both the pizza and sub get cooked longer.Been watching Dave Portnoy’s “One Bite Reviews” and was inspired to check out a local small business pizzeria. The Cheese Pizza I ordered was very slightly undercooked by wood fire standards, but good nonetheless. I’d prefer it to have stayed in the stove another minute or two. The Italian Sub is absolutely massive and very tasty, but also not cooked nearly long enough. The Mozzarella cheese was actually cold and not melted in the slightest. I had to take the sub home and use a cooking torch to finish the job. However, it’s still quite good and, despite the hefty price, is large enough for two people.Kid-friendliness: Park on location and good place to bring kids.

The pizza was good and pretty quick considering they make it right there! Then you can go over to the picnic tables for Refuge Coffee + Beer Garden and let the kids play on the playset and get a coffee/beer/wine from Refuge! Overall a great experience for a family! There's also some yard games to play ?

We had great customer service from the gentleman.We brought the pizza home and it's some of the best pizza I have ever had.Excited to see the area he is in grow and hope to try the brisket pizza next time!
Amazing pizza! Everything blends together very well and the sauce is super tasty! I usually don’t like tomato sauce but this one was really good. It’s also right next to Refuge which should be opening soon. Really looking forward to having this pizza with a beer!

So disappointed in the Pizzas. The crust was so thin, which I didn't expect from a wood fire pizza. The pizza was so soggy, and the cheese was a bit stange. The toppings were good as was the quantity of them. I just wish they had been a bit smaller and a nice crispy crust. Will not go there again.

I stopped by for a single pizza slice tonight. The owner took my order and I waited patiently in my car. He surprised me with a full pizza pie instead of my lonely slice. It was so kind of him, as he only charged me for one slice. He made my evening with his kindness and the delicious pizza. It was so good, I ate 3 slices!
