I’ve always loved Mary’s and take family from out of town there I recently went to pick up tacos with my puppy because on the website it states “pets welcomed.” I was asked to leave and the owner was not nice about it. I stated that on the website it says pets welcomed. He told me that the website was wrong. We will no longer give our business to Mary’s tacos due to the owner being rude when asking me to leave.

Just relocated here from AZ and we found Mary's Tacos from top rated eaterie reviews. It's a good ole family owned business in Helotes. Very busy, friendly efficient staff, they look so nice and classic with their uniforms, clean & comfortable environment. Prices are more than reasonable. Good variety on their menu. What's not to like?! We love it!

Very fast service! Tacos were amazing. I was worried that it wouldnt taste as delicious as the original Marys Tacos but they both taste the exact same!
The food is delicious however there is hardly any meat on the taco. It's supposed to be a meat and egg taco pictured. They used to put a good amount of meat on there. Now not so much. ☹️

I love Marys. The tacos are great and we typically stop for breakfast at least once a week. But I am sad to see that as cost of all food continues to rise, it seems like the quality and portions at Mary’s continue to fall. Posting this review mostly for call attention to the lack of care and detail - I sincerely hope that the management sees this and reviews the amount of of food that their customers are getting for $4-$5 taco in a city where there are so many more options that are much better value. Honestly, it’s fine if you want to serve smaller portion tacos, but then just don’t charge us $4.50. I used to swear by Mary’s restaurant and take all my visitors there as a must-eat destination but the fact that this taco’s lack of ingredients wasn’t a surprise will have me rethinking my weekend breakfast taco runs.
