Grew up with Japanese food and I can tell you, the food here is AUTHENTIC. Definitely one of the best in SA. Miso soup so much like what you'd get in Japan. I was actually speechless!! The katsu (pork) was SO tender and flavorful. I was really impressed!!! Bragged about it to my Japanese friends. Already looking forward to going back. 10 out of 10.

We has lunch here visiting for a sweet 16. Go to tons of these and this was the best yet. Service was very friendly and cook was funny. We had the inferno roll...phenomenal. The soup and salad had a flavor that was very unique and we enjoyed it more than any we had before. The fried rice was, again just great and my strip was cooked perfectly...barely medium ?. Only complaint and reason for overall 4 stars...party of 6....all of us wiped our seats down, 2 of us left with visible soy sauce/grease stains on our clothes...still, try this place.

We took our daughter to celebrate. We got there at 6:55. I know that because my husband said oh look happy hour but it ended at 7 so he wouldn’t have had time to order. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and my daughter ordered. Chasu Ramen. My daughter’s food comes out at 7:30 and the waiter had brought out my white rice with it and said the chicken will be right out. My daughter is eating her food while I wait for mine. It’s 8pm and my daughter had already finished her food and the waiter just brought mine to the table. I told her I’ll just take it to go since we had to go already. The waiter says ok not a problem and I just look at my husband like but that is a problem! No apologies for the food coming out so late nothing! I don’t think we will be going back! We get home and I bite my chicken only for it to be dry AF! Only giving it two stars because my daughter liked her food. Oh! And my food was $18 for a half dry AF chicken breast!!

Always a nice environment, clean establishment and friendly staff. They have gotten a few upgrades since the last time I came. Definitely recommend Osaka for some good sushi rolls and delicious chicken ☺️

I’ve only ordered on Grubhub, but the sushi has been great every time. I order rainbow rolls. They use a fair amount of fish, and do not bloat the rolls with tons of rice.
This place is expensive for very poor quality food. I ordered the calamari as a starter and was pretty disappointed. It tasted like fried flavorless rings of chewy rubber. I could barely finish one. Sushi was also not good…I ordered one Philadelphia and one Yellowtail roll. I couldn’t tell if it was the rice or the fish, but it tasted off in both rolls. Whichever it was, gave me a stomachache once I got home. I guess the servers were understaff that night, because at one point there were 8-9 plates of sushi sitting on the bar counter for quite awhile and none were being served. Didn’t bother to take a picture of any of my food for this review, because the presentation was not great. The sushi was strangely cut in wide oval shapes like Kimbap. Overall not a great experience.

We had a reservation ?Tips included, I paid $280.$70/person.Don't believe the hype.Miso soup was not blended well, no tofu or spring onion.. just a floating leaf.Fried rice was black because "cook" covered everything with oil and soy sauce.Don't take reservations if your staff is more interested in closing than service .I definitely and won't recommend

I have been here several times and the food AND service have yet to disappoint! I ordered the inferno and Wasabi rolls. Great rolls if you love salmon and a little heat. The inferno roll is made with a ghost pepper sauce. So good! With the freshness of the food and the level of hospitality, you can't go wrong.While I haven't tried thehibachi, it is next ony list to experience,
