Dominique was a terrific hostess. Very clean and attentive staff. It’s a family friendly hidden gem in the helotes area. Although I don’t live in the helotes area, I recommend this place. If I could give this place more stars I would. :)

Very nice and clean small restaurant. Menudo was great as was the homemade tortillas.

First time there. Had the special - carne guisada, which was very good. Not too salty, which is a common challenge with carne guisada. The corn tortillas were really good! They have table service so you get a menu and a server to explain options, etc. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Go here in the mornings to get my kids tacos before school but that lady at the window always charges different price when I order same thing 2 tacos and coke. Then I change it up today an pay same price for three tacos at 1.29 comes out to 5.80 how. This has happened before an confronted her she gave me correct amount. If she does this all day and people don't question it it adds up quite a bit. If you charging me for extra give me the extra taco price your charging me. SMH Tha lady at the window you know what your doing and it's not cool.

We sat inside but there are a couple outside tables if you want to eat outside.Tasty food, good portions, reasonable price, homemade tortillas.My carna guisada was very tender and tasty and my Husband liked his beef enchilada too : )Open 7am-3pm. This place was an unexpected find for my husband’s lunch hour . It’s small but very inviting when you walk in . The way staff were all friendly and greeted with smiles . I ended up ordering the Carne Guisada plate and was extremely glad I did. The gravy is brown and deliciously flavorful. The meat was tender and juicy and was in perfect proportion to the gravy . The tortillas were homemade fresh so light and fluffy they even split into thin layers . I haven’t had tortillas like that since my time as a child in south San Antonio. Keep up the great food and environment, we will definitely be back for more .

Homemade tortillas!!!! Those are hard to find nowadays. Breakfast was on point and the carne quisada, lip slapping’ Good food!
