When I arrived, there was a sign indicating the employee had gone to the restroom for a five-minute break. I completely understand and was not upset by this. However, the wait extended to approximately ten minutes, at which point the employee had already returned but the delay had still occurred.

Unfortunately, the issues continued with my order. My sandwich was prepared incorrectly, as it was missing mayonnaise and included olives that I did not request. Additionally, the sandwich was cold when I received it, which further impacted the quality of the meal. To add to the disappointment, I ordered an oatmeal raisin cookie but was instead given a white chocolate cookie.

While I understand that mistakes can happen, the combination of delays and multiple errors made this experience frustrating and disappointing

I visited your store today and had a very disappointing experience. Two employees, a man and a woman, were working the counter, and it was evident that both employees had disabilities. It took over 30 minutes to prepare a single sandwich, and the process was extremely slow and disorganized.

My concern is not with the employees themselves. What was troubling was the complete lack of supervision, support, or management oversight. There was no manager or person in charge present to assist them, guide them, or step in when it was clear they were struggling. These employees were left alone without the structure or assistance they clearly needed, and that is unfair to them.

If an employer chooses to hire individuals with disabilities, which is commendable, it is their responsibility to ensure those employees are properly vetted, trained, and supported to succeed in their roles. Leaving them without oversight does not reflect inclusivity; it reflects neglect. Entry-level wages do not justify inadequate training or supervision, especially when employees are genuinely trying to do their best.

This situation reflects a failure in management, not in the employees. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will not be returning to this location and will seriously reconsider visiting any other stores under the same ownership, which I understand may include multiple locations. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve conditions for both customers and employees.

I don’t understand the purpose of placing an express pickup order if I’m still required to wait in the same line as those ordering in person. My sandwiches sat on the counter for about 20 minutes before I finally got them. By then, some of the veggies were soggy and not fresh, though they were already low on ingredients to begin with. Only one employee was handling orders at the front, while another stayed in the back despite seeing the growing line. There was no effort to speed things up or improve the experience. Very disappointing.

Take your time and money to the subway on Bandera that is less than a mile away. I don’t know what it is about fast food establishments that are situated inside of Walmarts but apparently they aren’t required to adhere to the same standards that other stand alone establishments do.
This is probably my 3rd or 4th time getting an incorrect order so I finally decided to write a review. I ordered a turkey sandwich, with provolone, lettuce and extra ranch. There was hardly a drizzle of ranch on the sandwich. When I called to complain and spoke with Peter (I was told there was no manager on duty to complain to) he told me he remembered putting ranch on that sandwich. I told him I could show him the sandwich in question to prove there was not extra ranch and he then said yea you can do that if you want. No I do not want to drive all the way back to your establishment to show you that you messed up my order. I asked for a refund he said it would have to wait until the manager returned tomorrow morning. I will however happily leave a review and pictures on here so if the manager or Peter, cares to see their handy work they can.

The bread always smells amazing when I walk into Walmart, but let me tell you—they’re clearly serving 4-inch subs and calling them 6 inches. When I pointed it out, they insisted it was 6 inches, but in reality, it was nowhere near that size.

Monday 9:04pm asked if store was still open to subway employee. He told me they were closed. I had google maps open at the same time and it said they closed at 10pm. I called him out about the real closing time and at that point he changed the serving time to 9:30. Magically he was willing to take my order.
I took my business else where.

Most pathetically bad Subway I've been to without exaggeration. I don't like leaving bad reviews unless I MEAN IT, but this places was so bad. I expected garbage quality and was still disappointed. I blame the manger of thid crummy place, maybe if they paid their employees and had more than 2 people doing EVERYTHING at once, it'd be smoother sailing, cuz I can tell the employees did their job but all the food was nowhere near fresh and nasty! The cheese was literally not melt and it was properly left in there as long as it should have been so that was on the store for having an overheated phone battery of an oven to work with. To whoever own this subway, get it together, have more employees at once, maybe pay them more and they'll actually be inclined to work harder. Just so embarrassingly pathetic ?

This is the worst subway location I've ever been to. The kid behind the counter couldn't listen or take the order properly and over toasted the sandwiches and didn't cut them in half even though I reminded him to cut it 3 times and then the foot long pretzel took forever and when it was done I asked about the cheese sauce for it but they said no it doesn't come with that it only comes with mustard. This is also the only location that has the view of the meat and cheeses blocked by a metal lid so you can't see if it's being properly stored behind the counter. Seriously how hard is it to manage a subway and keep up with the standards of every other subway. Also the employees let some random dude that was their buddy just go behind the counter and get an icee drink himself without paying and then they just high-five eachother and he leaves. Terrible subway location for real the worst can't believe walmart keeps this subway here at all.

Only one person working, man In front of me was ordering for his entire office. Felt sorry for the girl working. Poor management/Owner's. They were out of turkey, olives as well. This is not the first time I have had trouble at this location. I will go to another's location next time.

Today, May 3,2024 at around 7:15PM, I stopped by to order one tuna sandwich with nothing hut tuna and cheese on wheat. The man working there was extremely rude and not very well trained on customer service. There was one couple whose order was almost being done and he said I had to wait 30 minutes before he would get to me as he had a mobile order that was priority. I asked politely again if he could help as it was just one quick sandwich to which he laughed and said no. NEVER GOING BACK.
