I’ll start of by saying that I never give reviews to restaurants, but this one is worthy of my time to be heard by the people wanting to go here, do you a favor and do NOT.
This specific location has nothing to do with the other ones here in SA neither in Laredo…
They’re advertising the soups all over the place, heading to the cashier, the same person cooking, handles cash without changing gloves…
I ask the cashier if I could get one of the soups, and she didn’t bother to ask my what size, or if I was done ordering, I was also needing to get more…
After placing the order, I go to the salsa bar and that seem nothing but fresh, The order took not too much, employees were laughing and on their phone with GLOVES…
Anyways, someone brings me the food, and the Super fideo was cold… the flavor was not bad but who eats fideo cold?
I got the wrong tortillas, and Manager yelling at their employees asking if they messed up, like i’m in front of you telling you That’s not what I order, you have to ask them to proof if im right or wrong?
Anyways I go to ask for my other order that was to go and it was just there no one ever turned it in
I went and asked an employee how come this Taco Palenque has so many different things than others, he didn’t seemed to care to give an explanation, he said they tried to do their best and that not every restaurant is operated by the same people…
I understand how franchises works, but what’s the point of having the name of your company on different locations if it won’t have the same service and quality
This one’s close to my job that’s why I stopped here..
I’d stay i’d stick to the ones near stone oak with is where I usually go but this makes me don’t want to go back ever again…
Taco Palenque = Workers not changing gloves, cold food, poor management and discrepancy between different locations.

Taco palenque in the valley is far superior. They gave me a single salsita for 6 tacos and no cilantro. In the valley you get 3 salsas in a baggie

We love Taco Palenque, especially this location. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is always spotless. The salsa bar is well-stocked, and the customer service is exceptional. This is why we keep coming back!

To expensive to order food I ordered one beef fajita taco and three crispy tacos and one small drink and it was $20 that is way to high I should have went to salt grass and had a steak and a better meal

Great flavor, Clean, friendly people and open 24hr No more to say!

Parking: Street tacos is my fav plate! Mexican Coca Cola, Aguas frescas specially Jamaica, red onion and nachos with cheese and fajita uff!!!

Recommended dishes: Guacamole, Fajitas, Beef Fajita Taco, Beef Fajitas, Quesadilla with Chicken Fajita, Matamoros Tacos, Sirloin Burrito

Always has good food and good customer service!
Must go to and employees are so helpful, would recommend!!!

First time there. Atmosphere was what one would expect from a fast food place. Food about the same. Nothing really bad or extrordanair.

I'm writing about the service. I ordered a burrito with cheese and guacamole as an add on. I cut into it but no guacamole or cheese. I went to the counter to let them know. The manager shouts across kitchen to cook and asks him if he put guac and cheese on it. Cook said yes even though you couldn't see it. After a brief standoff I had to rip open the burrito to see if guacamole and cheese were indeed added. It turns out they were, but they were balled up in the middle. The manager offered nothing. He took great lengths to pissing off a customer when he could have spent less time just adding guacamole and cheese plus keep me coming back.

I'm just going back to Mias.
