Great food, very authentic! Cozy place and kind staff. The only reason for 3 stars on staff was due to how long it would take the server to come by to check on us and bring what we needed.

I'd give a 100+ stars if I could. This restaurant is family owned & they all truly make you feel like family. Zeke Sr, Zeke Jr, Raul, Mike & Robyn are all amazing. The food was exquisitely authentic & so delicious. Excellent customer service, delicious food & drinks are definitely what the Grey Moss Inn offers. This restaurant is a gem like no other & has truly become our favorite spot! ???

A friend reccomend Grey Moss Inn & we researched on Texas Eats..... Came here to celebrate my birthday & loved it! The oak trees and Spanish moss take you into another time. Beautiful & peaceful outside, warm and inviting inside. Everything we tried was delicious! Robyn was the best server! The vibe, service and food are on point! Can't wait to return! Lemon Drop today, Cucumber Martini next time! Thank you for tonight!

This spot is amazing! The food was delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic. It's very rustic and you can tell this place holds a lot of history. The service was nice as well and we got to meet one of the owners who was very sweet and had a nice conversation with us. We will absolutely be back!

We had an early dinner with margaritas on the patio. The atmosphere was excellent. We started with margaritas, mine was a mezcal margarita and my husband's was tequila. Mezcal is smokey and definitely an acquired taste. The food selection was diverse and good. We will be back.

Yesterday, Sunday, my family and I got together early to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday. Part of my family came from Mexico to be together. We live 40 minutes away from the restaurant and at 8pm we all left home excited to have a nice warm dinner with the family. When we arrived at the restaurant we were soon disappointed when the host said that the place was closed (of course I checked the hours, but this didn't matter anymore). Our 4-year-old son started crying because he wouldn't have his favorite dish and we had to leave, so the night started to drag on. We drove back another 40 minutes only to realize that most of our favorite restaurants were closing in 20 minutes at the latest, so we ended up in a noisy and unpleasant place...
A simple oversight like not updating the opening and closing times can be very cruel to your visitors.

Had an enchanted evening up there on 10/11.

Great Mexican food! So glad we finally made it to this gem....will definitely be back.

We showed up early to our reservation and were told they would text me when it got closer to our reservation time. That time came and went and I had to go find the hostess to find out why we never received a text. We were sat soon after. We waited over 20 minutes for someone to come to our table to get our drink and appetizer order. Then we waited another 30 minutes for our drinks. Our waiter did apologize for the long wait, but the wait was long for everything. We decided to order our food and see which one came out first, the entree or the appetizer. The appetizer came out minutes before our food. The appetizer was not the best. The beef fajitas were dry and had little flavor. A patron should never have to go out of their way to get a servers attention for water refills. The best part of the night was the live music. We try new places every weekend and this by far was one of the worst experiences.

You should ask your staff why they were telling patrons that multiple employees didn't show up and that's why things were slow and orders were going to the wrong tables.
