Fin & Feather Bar and Grill

Needs cleaned. Mold in the bathroom. Shower leaks water all over the floor. Refrigerator was dirty. Cobwebs in the bedroom. Walls were visibly dirty throughout the cabins. However, I will say that the staff member at the office was very nice and well-informed of the area, there were no bugs found on the inside of the cabin, and the pool was clean.

First time there. Not much to choose from on the menu. We all got fish and shrimp. Shrimp was over cooked and fish was 2 very small pieces and not cooked enough.It was really hot inside too. People were nice and the restaurant itself was very nice. Floors and furniture were very pretty. We’d love to go back but menu needs to have lots more to choose from and the temperature inside was very uncomfortable. I don’t recommend anything.

We went this past weekend and was so disappointed. It’s the same food you can get at a gas station. The burgers are premade frozen patties. The adult drinks are watered down tasting. It used to be one of our favorite places but no longer.

Came to celebrate my grandmother's birthday with family. It took over an hour for us to even place our food orders and we had to ask to place it but we're told that there was a billing issue which they couldn't help us because of. They then served my grandmother last out everyone at the table. I personally ordered a burger medium and it was served well done which was disappointing but I had already waited so long it wasn't worth getting it re made. My mother's sandwich was overly greesy and she couldn't finish it. She had been here previously and said it had gone down in quality a lot.

I had the chicken fingers with mash and fantastic broccoli &cauliflower. My friend had chick fried steak and mash. Food was amazing!!?

This has always been my go-to while in the area and have never had poor service until today. Walked in and stood by the sign that stated “please wait to be seated”. We were not greeted or acknowledged this time by any waitstaff who walked by countless times and after what seemed like more than a considerable amount of time to have to wait as they were not packed with customers, we walked out. Hopefully this will be addressed for future customers.

Food quality has gone downhill fast. With the rich new owner this place has, the food should be as good or better than before. Evidently he doesn’t care for repeat customers.

Really nice views and delicious food to boot. New management is awesome and they are making some big improvements, the catfish is always good and the chicken fried steak was very good. Will always visit when in the area!

The resort has been bought out. New management is terrible!!! Hour wait for breakfast and we were the only one in the place. Oh and they were out of milk!!!

Really enjoyed our lunch date! The view is great!.... great service!....Food was really fresh and great!

I really enjoy eating at F&F now that it is under new owners. The owner takes great pride in making new improvements to help serve the public. The grounds look beautiful and clean. The menu has new items. The food is great. The Shrimp and Grits are the best I have had in a long time. They are still hiring but it’s coming along in a positive way. I recommend if you haven’t been there in awhile give it a try again. Please be patient if it’s crowded because just like everywhere else is does take time to get your food. Thank you to all the staff for trying and serving the community.?

I highly recommend this place! The new owner is working very hard at getting faster service and a better menu. I tried a few new menu items this weekend and yum ?!!! Things are a little slow as of now but I can say without a doubt that big things are coming!

Funky little spot in the middle of an old school resort. Their fried crawfish tails were super delicious. Ask them for a side of tartar and cocktail sauce, you won’t regret it. We were the only ones in the restaurant besides a couple patrons at the bar (we’re visiting in the off season) and the employees were super friendly and I love the hometown locals vibe. I had the shrimp po boy and it was so good! My son had the classic club which was massive and my partner had the chicken fried steak, which he called one of the best we’ve had on this cross country trip. The service was a 5, the 4 is for the quality of some of the menu items. The Mac and cheese was Kraft and most of the desserts aren’t house-made. But the fried Oreos were a delicious experience. We would totally go back on our next visit here.

Wife and I went Friday night. Great place good food cold beer got to watch boats come in for tournament weigh in. Was surprised with prices I expected higher on the water. We will be going back every time we go to lake now love that I can take boat to dinner.
