Grilled chicken salad was great. Burger was delicious. Chicken strips were decent. Steak fingers were tough. (I do not recommend.) Waitress was not attentive or knowledgeable about multiple food options. We probably won't be back but would consider getting food to-go.

Visiting the area and just needed breakfast, got a delicious feast instead. I normally don't order restaurant bacon because it's always so thin and cheap but I took the risk as the second meat on my meal and I will tell you that was definitely at home bacon and do not regret.

What a great little cafe! My wife and I enjoyed some club sandwiches and homeaded onion rings over the July 4th weekend here and we were very satisfied with food and service! I have been hunting the Hemphill area for 14 yrs and never knew this place was there! Looking foward to breakfast there during deer season!

My wife asked the lady who sat us if she should go for the burger or a wrap. The lady said the burgers are really good. So my wife ordered the wrap and I ordered a burger so she could try them both. The waitress the. Tells us they are out of burgers. So I assume no hamburger steak either? To which she replied no. Fast forward 20 minutes later while we are now waiting on a wrap and a club sandwich. Neither requires cooking. A table is seated next to us and orders a burger. They’re told it’ll take a few minutes because he is thawing some out. What? I thought you were out of them? Absolute garbage. Never again. Get your crap straight.

Really nice spot to get a bite to eat. Passing thru the area and decided to eat here. The staff were great. Really friendly. And the food was good, too! Clean restaurant. Recommend to stop by. Laid back country style spot. I liked it.

Great food and great prices for the quantity. We have been visiting Hemphill much more this year and this is our new goto for eating out.
Service extremely bad!
Waited for over 30 minutes for breakfast only to get up and walk out after being put off twice with very poor reasons for it not being ready and seeing others receive their food after our order was turned in to cook!!
Find another place and don’t waste your rime!!!

Service VERY BAD! We’re the only table in the place for breakfast when our order was turned in! Three other tables came in after and two of them received their orders ahead of us. I inquired as to what the issue was and was told that the fan blew the tickets when the cook took them off the hooks and she did not which one was first - poor excuse because ours should have been being fixed before the other tickets were placed there! Were told it was being played and it would be right out - after another five minutes a waitress (not ours) came and said one was being recooked because of an error of the cook but the omelet was flipped and it would be right out (AGAIN). After another five minutes we just left after paying $2.00 for a soda! Will not go back!! Have been there and saw this happen to other patrons so apparently they don’t care to learn from their mistakes and correct them If I were you I would read all reviews before going here!!
