Very, very good BBQ. Award winning. They sell their spice rubs so you can try to make the same thing at home. Good luck with that.We have been here twice and both times were impressed with the quality, flavors and textures of the smoked meats and sides. The only exception was the coleslaw. The first time it had surprising ingredients and tasted homemade. The second time it seemed like it was scooped from a tub. That's ok. I come here for the meat. I expect you will be completely satisfied with that.
It was horrible 40 bucks wasted because we couldn’t eat was greasy and nothining but fat on my plate ! The brisket had no flavor at all and when we walked out I puked up the part I was able to swallow.. so now am in the truck trying not to puke all over I didn’t take a picture because it was a wast of time horrible never going back there

Amazing food, nice people.I enjoyed the experience & as a baked potato connoisseur…. I must say it was definitely one of the best I ever had. I would recommend calling first because some items tend to be sold out when it gets later in the day, especially the potatoes and green beans.

Great place for BBQ. We got our food fast. The service was very courteous and friendly. The sliced brisket was the most tender and moist brisket I've ever had. It is obvious why they have won so many awards for their BBQ. I liked the green beans and the baked beans the best from the sides we tried (potato salad and corn were the others). They had run out of the Mac and cheese by the time we arrived, which was close to closing. We got the two meat plates. Ask for bread on the side. Chicken was dry, but good. Especially when you slather on the BBQ sauce. Definitely a good stop for BBQ.
Was never notifed when food was ready. It sat until another patron was leaving and asked if that was my food. Sliced beef was good, bun was not fresh.Customer service would be 1 out of 5.
Great brisket and very nice people. Also, It has a cool atmosphere. I was just picking up BBQ for the drive, but this looks like a great place to watch a game.
Stopped here for late lunch and we were so pleasantly surprised. The chopped beef sandwich was excellent and you could tell by the constant traffic thru this small restaurant we were not the only ones who were impressed. This has got to be one of Hempstead Tx hidden prizes. We will be back again.
