Great rustic BBQ joint that embodies everything that is Texas. Sandwich so big I could barely finish it. Mac-n-cheese was spot on great as well. Highly recommend when anyone is in the area.
My husband and I came to TX from SC, and ate here on our way home. One of our BEST experiences while in TX! Not only was our food wonderful, but they were very hospitable to our 2 fur babies. Mr. Hill came out and spent some time talking with my husband and me, and even gave us some delicious sausage to try, and the BEST banana pudding ever! Next time we make this trip, we will most definitely go back! Thank you Hill Country BBQ for your wonderful hospitality!
Sausage and ribs were pretty good, id order those agilain. the moist brisket was mostly all fat not my favorite and would not order again. I would go with the lean. could have just been that cut if meat they used. had good smoke flavor overall. If passing by I would stop again, but wouldn't go out of my way to just make a trip there
