excellent service with amazing food highly recommended great pizza ! always have plenty to take home
Stopped by here with our college daughter on way home for Christmas break. Beautiful restaurant with nicely done decor. String lights all throughout the dining areas on the ceiling. Very clean setting. Food was delicious and staff friendly and prompt in service.
Wonderful restaurant just off of I290. The portion sizes were very generous and just about everyone in our party took a large portion home. Typical Italian options that we all enjoyed. No one had a bad meal or a regret what they ordered. Service was prompt and friendly. Easy to fly by at 75mph so using your GPS is a must. We were there just after the governor has listed the mask mandate and we were a bit nervous. The tables were more than 6 feet apart. Everyone wore a mask properly when they were not eating. Felt absolutely safe. Can’t wait to go back in the future. Enjoy.
Joes was recommended by the hotel clerk. Verified by its Trip Advisor rating. Dinner on a Monday. Service was excellent. Tea was very good. Salads were very good. Had a Lot of dressing. Dressings were excellent. Bread was excellent. Perhaps made from pizza dough. The food arrived very quickly. Chicken picatta and lasagne. The chicken eats a huge plate of food. Both very tasty. Service continued to be excellent. Left a $10. tip.
Huge delicious portions. Friendly but timid wait staff. Waiter Daniel had not reviewed the menu so had no clue what we were ordering. No one knew this address to post, had to get off the menu. Don't ask for the house salad dressing, a red sauce very similar to shrimp cocktail. Their original web page is outdated not listing the new location off of 290 and FM1488. Folks, their open 7days 10a-9p
If your travels take you down Hwy 6 between Hempstead and Bryan/College Station you might want to give Joe's Italian Grill a try for a reasonably priced lunch or dinner. Pizzas are delicious. Service is fast and friendly. Not the easiest place to locate and you might pass it by without even noticing it... BUT it's definitely worth finding !!
Not far from Bee Weavers Honey Farm, Joe's Italian Grill is a great place to have lunch. Attentive service, good variety of dishes on the menu, and the food was delicious and plentiful! A good place to enjoy a leisurely lunch with friends without the feeling of being rushed - definitely going back!!
This is a somewhat new restaurant in the middle of nowhere, but worth the drive. It's on a busy highway, so it's easy to pass by. The food is excellent, with great prices and service. We chose a house wine, which was good. Their dinner rolls are to die for. The pizza was amazing, as was the Shrimp Alfredo. The shrimp were huge! Someone in my party ordered the meatballs...they were very impressive. We had generous servings, and we had to take home several containers. Next time we will have to share dishes. The restaurant is not fancy, which is appealing. You feel like you are visiting an Italian family's home for dinner. We want to go again!
Our table had pizza, pasta, salads and stuffed mushrooms. All tasty. There was a ton of cheese on the pie. Good crust too. Friendly. Clean. Pretty fast. Would go back.
Joe's has very good selection of Italian food. Very cheese and creamy. The pizza is top shelf. The crust is very tasty and the ingredients are good. Reasonably priced and you can get a huge one.

This is a hidden gem, although it is on Hwy 6, 10 mins north of Hempstead; vehicles are travelling so fast they miss it. The dishes are wonderful and the portions are large. Many meals come with a very good dinner salad. We have visited many times and always leave with a doggy bag. The value is very good and sharing a dish is a good idea. Great for families. The pizzas are excellent and they bake their own buns. No liquor license but you can bring your own bottle.
The food has been very good each time we visited. Tried various items on menu. The pizza is very good. They serve garlic knots with meals. Many chicken and seafood italian dinners. The pasta is well prepared. Service has been good even when crowded. Be prepared to take home food. The protions are huge.
