Just spoke with the owners, they are permanently closed.
Contrary to the name, this is a restaurant, not a store! It serves farm-fresh food. Unlike most restaurants, you can take a tour of the farm to see the garden and animals that supply the restaurant.

Pros-the restaurant is clean. The restroom was also clean. We ordered the chips and queso for $6. The fresh fried chips was nice. The queso was bland but warm.Cons from this particular dining experience- the soup special of the day was chicken and dumplings. It was a wet nasty day and dumplings sounded good so we both ordered a bowl. What a huge disappointment! There was a total of 2 very small dumplings in the broth and a few shreds of chicken. I basically paid $10 for a bowl of broth which was flavorful but not a creamy sauce that we here in the south know dumplings to be. I brought the lack of dumplings and chicken to the attention of the waitress who only replied ‘I’m sorry’. A manager never spoke to us about the experience.I had this restaurant on my list of restaurants to try and had high hopes. I was in the area at a nearby ballpark so stopped in on the way home (an hours drive away) I won’t be making to trip over there for destination dining after this experience.
The first time I went I ordered the pork steak with the mashed potatoes and that sauce. That was very good. I went today and ordered the hamburger and I was disappointed it was cooked medium and I didn’t realize it until I took a couple of bites and the fries were the good but soggy I probably won’t go back because of that experience my stomach is cramping from eating raw meat. I should stated that I wanted my meat cooked well done though.

Definitely delicious ?! I love the farm to fork ideology!
Country cooking dinner right but I wish a few more choices were grilled, not fried.

The food was amazing! We ordered the pork ribeye with mashed potatoes and the chicken pot pie. The best chicken pot pie we’ve ever tasted. The owner said it was his mom’s recipe. The service was outstanding and highly recommend!
