Contrary to the name, this is a restaurant, not a store! It serves farm-fresh food. Unlike most restaurants, you can take a tour of the farm to see the garden and animals that supply the restaurant.

Pros-the restaurant is clean. The restroom was also clean. We ordered the chips and queso for $6. The fresh fried chips was nice. The queso was bland but warm.Cons from this particular dining experience- the soup special of the day was chicken and dumplings. It was a wet nasty day and dumplings sounded good so we both ordered a bowl. What a huge disappointment! There was a total of 2 very small dumplings in the broth and a few shreds of chicken. I basically paid $10 for a bowl of broth which was flavorful but not a creamy sauce that we here in the south know dumplings to be. I brought the lack of dumplings and chicken to the attention of the waitress who only replied ‘I’m sorry’. A manager never spoke to us about the experience.I had this restaurant on my list of restaurants to try and had high hopes. I was in the area at a nearby ballpark so stopped in on the way home (an hours drive away) I won’t be making to trip over there for destination dining after this experience.

The first time I went I ordered the pork steak with the mashed potatoes and that sauce. That was very good. I went today and ordered the hamburger and I was disappointed it was cooked medium and I didn’t realize it until I took a couple of bites and the fries were the good but soggy I probably won’t go back because of that experience my stomach is cramping from eating raw meat. I should stated that I wanted my meat cooked well done though.

Good food but bad service age there and never got a refill on my drink and took forever to pay for my meal. Would come back if service was better.

We love this place! The atmosphere, service and food are all top rated in my book. The staff is very nice. You get homemade farm-to-table large sized portion food. We frequent this location on a regular basis. They have added a very nice outside area that includes a bar and seating area. Great family-friendly environment. They also have big screen TVs and host local talent for live music. They have recently added karaoke. Their monthly Sunday breakfast/brunch buffet is affordable and delicious with plenty of food options. The owner is super friendly and is always greeting guests when he's not on the kitcheninr cooking and prepping food. They are even available for private events. This place does not disappoint.

The food was amazing! We ordered the pork ribeye with mashed potatoes and the chicken pot pie. The best chicken pot pie we’ve ever tasted. The owner said it was his mom’s recipe. The service was outstanding and highly recommend!

This place is basically in our backyard! We like coming for breakfast but their burgers are awesome too!! The staff is always friendly too. The space is nice and they have a big open area in the back.

Just meh. Pretty location when there is nothing else available in the area. Waitstaff was very slow. Food was mediocre.

First I can't wait to try more items from the menu! Lol The wonderful beginning started with some of the best rolls my tongue has ever had on it! Omg! Order more than what they give you! We had the cheese bricks as an app and loved them! We split the fried shrimp and the batter on the shrimp was delish!!!!! The waitress was very sweet and attentive. We will be back!!!!!

Stopped in today for lunch due to rave reviews from Friends especially about the chicken pot pie.Truthfully.. the chicken pot pie was not good at all. My girlfriend took a taste.. told me something wasn't right with it.. then I took a taste. The filling tasted flourly and bland. I opened the pot pie up and it had one piece of carrot in it.. no other veggies. It did have an abundance of shredded chicken though.. we brought it to the waitresses attention and she took care of it for us..We are assuming that maybe there is someone else making the pot pies during lunch on weekdays then at dinner time or on the weekends? We were the only couple there at 1:00 p.m.Other than that my chicken fried yard bird was great.. as well as the mac and cheese and the saladsParking: Ample parking.

The chicken friend steak in a biscuit was so good, but they need to work of those pancakes. The pancakes looked and tasted like they had been sitting in the stove for a while. The service was rapid and attentive. The ambiance was peaceful for a Sunday morning.

Brought the family after a long day at yogi bear down the road. To start of the staff are friend and welcoming upon arrival. Few local beers in the fridge . The bread was a crowd favorite, and the kids asked for more! We couldn’t agree on an appetizer so we got a few , cheese curds and cheese sticks, and fried green tomatoes , which were probably one of the best I’ve had . The chicken fried chicken was moist and perfectly seasoned, got the seasonal vegetables as my side as well as the house salad with ranch. Ranch was definitely homemade, wish they would add on a house made blue cheese. Kids got hamburgers which were also perfectly seasoned, fries were great . One of the kids got the chicken and dumplings and he basically licked the bowl clean. Will be back for more . Can’t wait till it cools down and enjoy some live music on the back porch.
