I’m relocating from North Carolina, and was just looking for some hot, fresh food fast — this spot delivered perfectly. The gumbo was rich and full of flavor, and the chicken tenders were hot, crispy, and clearly made with pride. You can taste the care that went into preparing everything.

The desserts are just as impressive. The banana pudding was smooth and delicious, and the caramel pecan cupcakes were absolutely outstanding — sweet, buttery, and worth the trip on their own.

This is a must-stop in Hempstead and all surrounding towns. Great people, great food, and a local business that deserves support. Tell a friend to tell a friend so they can stay open, thriving, and continuing to serve the community.

The desserts were not my cup o'sweets. Had the trifle like cups, more of the glaze filling opposed to fresh fruit and fresh made glaze. Cake was midly dry. However, they are incredibly friendly and helpfu! I wish them success!

Amazing food the chicken fajita baked potato was out of this world. The loaded tea was delicious and the Dubi brownie treat was wonderful. This shoppe is a gem the service is 1st class.

Everything was amazing. I got the lemon cookies, strawberry cookies, banana pudding cookies, and turtle cheesecake. Everything was balanced, not too sweet, including the freshly blended watermelon lemonade as well as the regular lemonade. I plan to stop here anytime I’m headed to Houston. 10/10
