Good seafood

Great service and food! They could use more wait staff, but the women at the bar are always checking on everyone as best they can.

Very nice staff. But the fish was overly cooked. Great sides. Just don't think I would recommend it to anyone.

Love this place. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The beer is cold. The grilled shrimp is good. And the fish tacos are delicious. A hot spot of Henderson.

The food sounds and looks delicious, but it tastes like frozen food.

I was super excited to see such a cool looking place pop up in my hometown. I visit a few times a year and from the outside Cabos exterior was colorful and very inviting. The inside decor is is equally cool and funky and it has a great vibe. We ordered a combination plate and shared it. The fried catfish and shrimp were hot and tasty. The stuffed crab was ok, but not a showstopper. The hush puppies were not fresh and a little hard and barely warm. Pretty bummed since I love hush puppies and was looking forward to trying theirs. We chose fried okra and broccoli for our sides. The fried okra were not fresh and hot. Plus they were swimming in a pool of oil. Not so appetizing. The broccoli was better, but still the temp was not hot enough. Not sure what is going on with that. Seemed to be the theme. The service was great. Very friendly guy. I really want them to do well. Henderson has a handful of great restaurants. The potential is there. I'd definitely give them a try. Hopefully they will get into their groove. I will give them another try for sure. The karaoke sounds fun and meeting friends in the bar or on the outdoor patio sounds fun. Best of luck!

Had the fish tacos blackened, the were ok I think the next time I try them I will have them with no cheese sauce, the only other thing is I put ketchup on the fries and the ketchup was spoiled. Service was good, went Sunday after church and only had to wait 10 minutes.

Mediocre food, forgot a party members meal, and charged a 20% fee for being in a party of 6. Wont be going back.

Nice atmosphere and friendly service in this charming small town restaurant. Ordered the fish and shrimp combo with hush puppies and fries and all of it was fresh, well-seasoned and, most important, sizzling hot when it got to the table. Reasonable prices, too. Recommended.

My wife and I dined here for lunch. She had the lunch quesadilla and I had the 'Speedy Gonzales" which is a beef enchilada and cheese enchilada covered with chili, spanish rice, refried beans and a crunchy taco on the side. The chips were average and the green sauce was very good. The red sauce was a bit lacking in flavor and was a bit heavy on the tomato sauce. The food was pleasantly good and fresh. Seasoned correctly and very tasty. The service was above average and we both dined for less than $20.

Monday night - place is empty yet service is so bad like they are full. It took 7 to 10 minutes to seat us not because they are busy because no one bothered to come up front and check. We should’ve left then I don’t know why we didn’t. The hostess sat us and it was another 10 to 15 minutes before anyone even noticed we were there. We ordered drinks and a small cup of queso 15 minutes later they brought the drinks and a large cup of queso for two people I explained I just ordered the small cup she said don’t worry I won’t charge you for it We ordered nachos and quesadillas it took 90 minutes to serve these simple dishes in a half empty restaurant. During this 90 minutes no one came to refill drinks no one came to check on us no one came to apologize for the delay it was as if we weren’t there. The check came they billed us for the large quest we complained nothing happened. The service was so bad we were not tipping. The server brought the check then stood there and watched us as we paid it The bill was 30$ we gave server 40$ cash (all we had). She took 7- 10 min and never came back...we finally asked for our change and she said she assumed the change was hers- a 33% gratuity for the worst service we ever received. I know it’s not Houston or Dallas I don’t expect five diamond service book give me a break worst customer service ever do not eat here ever. I’m sure management never even read these reviews there’s probably a reason it’s number 37 in Henderson I didn’t even know Henderson had 30 restaurants.

Three adults, two teens, and two little ones made up our group. First, the servers here are friendly & helpful but the food is awful. The cheese dip was like yellow school glue. The five yr. old was the only one who liked it. The rice was dry & had little flavor. The beans were watery. Now if a Mexican restaurant can't get rice & beans right-it's a problem. Two of us had the shrimp enchiladas-they just didn't taste good at all. One had a burrito which was just OK. One had chicken fajitas which were OK but a small portion. One teen had the chicken quesadilla which he said was good. These recipes need a makeover. Finally, the margaritas were weak & served in a plastic ice tea glass-that's just wrong!

This is my third trip to this restaurant. The first time the service was slow and the food just adequate. The second trip was with a group of people. After church this Sunday, a friend and I took our grandchildren there as they were hungry and we could find a parking place. The server poured tea all over my family including my one year old granddaughter who was sitting in a high chair who was soaking wet. We had to ask for towels to clean up and even had to ask for a wet one. We had to ask several times and were just given lip service until the owner came by. The owner moved us to another table and after 20 minutes of waiting without drinks or menu we left. We were there for close to an hour. A waitress never came to our table. The manager said she was to busy getting other people’s food. I will never return there. The food is truthfully not that good, but as I said we were just trying to find a restaurant that had a parking place. The service is slow, they seem to always have a new staff and the food is lower quality than Jalapeño Tree and Francisco’s. Save your money and your time.
