Small town flare with big town flavors! Stumbled across this hidden gem and was pleasantly surprised by what they had to offer. The Peanut Butter Waffle oatmeal protein bowl was by far the best I’ve ever had. Let along the breakfast tacos were amazing! Even sampled the loaded baked potato which was simply AMAZING!

Some friends and I stopped by on a road trip, and I wish I lived closer to this place. Everything we got was fantastic. I personally had oatmeal and a brisket baked potato, and it was the best loaded baked potato I’ve ever had. I’m going to start putting salsa on all of them now. The ladies working there were also great. I may have to start routing trips through Hico just to stop in!

Sweet, family owned cafe. The food was good. We had 8 in our group, so a lot of different orders and all 8 of us liked what we ordered. Atmosphere is that wonderful old downtown brick and wood floors vibe. Milkshakes too! A good find in a quiet small town.

Dietary restrictions: The cole slaw and chicken salad are non milk. No gluten free bread. We brought our own.

We stopped here on our way home from a stay in Fredericksburg. One person in our party was a vegetarian. The staff were very accommodating in offering vegetarian options. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and the service was top notch. If I lived locally I would be a regular here! Thanks for a great lunch ladies!!!!!

I really enjoyed their vegan options! Açaí bowls and smoothies are what I’ve gotten the most. I believe they have some plant based protein options now too. Glad that this business is growing! The story behind this small business is a heart warming one!

Visited Goin2behealthy for the first time today. Had a wonderful jalapeño popper sandwich and side salad. It was very satisfying, low carb, tasty and reasonably priced. The mint iced tea was delicious as well. Will definitely return to sample other offerings!
