I had the opportunity to stop by the well renowned hico loco on my way home from work last night. I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere, I was greeted as soon as I walked up, and my food was out in less than 5 minutes! I had the burger and my wife got the tacos. We were absolutely flabbergasted by how insanely delicious their food was. Hico Loco will now be a weekly fixture for my family. Please for your sake if you’re driving through town stop by hico loco, you won’t regret it!!!

The Magic Taco Burger is just that. Going from burger to taco was a trip.
The burgers(any of them) are by far the best burgers I've ate in hico. The guy who makes them is so nice. It's cash only which can sometimes be challenging but I feel it makes it a "local" spot. Kinda tucked away but we'll worth it. Not busy at all the times I've went and food was super fast getting done. I took my dog and he was welcome. Even made some bacon just for him. :)highly recommended. It's an outside eating spot, porch sitting. But it was nice.

Boo. The owners reply to previous review is bogus. Neon lights were on and they just changed hours on Google yesterday to reflect their story. Sounds shady. If you want to run a business, cool, no need to lie about your services or hours. Food might be good, but never know bc this place is rarely open. I will definitely NOT be back. Don't lie and make it seem like my bad experience was my fault. Hours were 11am - 7 pm I was there at 2:39pm and neon sign was on. Good luck! Might wanna focus on actually serving CUSTOMERS that show up to your business. Thanks!
