Disappointing First Experience
We recently visited Lenchaz Taqueria for the first time, excited to try the local flavors. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. The staff member who took our order was less than welcoming, and when we requested toppings on the side, we were met with noticeable attitude.
Our wait time was about 40 minutes for three burritos and one taco, which felt quite long given the simplicity of the order. For those passing through Hico and looking for a quick bite, this may not be the best option unless you call ahead.
While the food was satisfactory, the service and wait time left a lot to be desired. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity for improvement, as great service can truly elevate the dining experience.

This is the best breakfast I have eaten since I moved to Hico several months ago. Everything was flavorful. The breakfast burrito was huge. The salsa was delicious. I highly recommend giving them a try if you haven't.
This truly is a hidden gem in hico. We recently discovered this in passing. Service is great, super friendly folks here. The food is absolutely the best around this area, hands down.

Wow! I did not expect to have the best breakfast burrito of my life. We were driving through and it was about the only place open. Just a little food truck. I simply got eggs, sausage and pico. Everything was super flavorful and fresh. Salas’s were terrific. Highly recommended. We will stop next time we head through. Thank you!!!
