Seemingly out of the way in Highlands, Texas, Charlie’s Ice House is the perfect place to hang out with friends, drink beer, watch the 'Stros and discover your inner rock star with some great karaoke provided by the always awesome DJ Ronnie and Roze. This great cast of characters has made me feel welcome from day 1. And when the great Amber Jenkins isn't providing the best drink service humanly possible, she is dazzling the crowds on the microphone. Wherever you are in the Houston area, this one is definitely worth the drive.

This is my new home bar! Every time you go the owner is there and greets you with a smile and a hug. the staff is absolutely amazing! I love karaoke and they have it every Thursday with one of the best Hosts have ever seen with. And more often than not somebody has cooked something and brought it for everyone to share. Ths is not a recommendation this is telling you you absolutely must come to Charlie's!!!

Every experience here is so inconsistent that after a lifetime of living in this area, I deem it unsafe. They have good employees and I hope that they receive better treatment then some of the customers.
